- Match audio settings automatically with Match Source . Match Source now includes your source's audio channels and sample rate, with automatic downmixing and warnings when a format can't support the source's channel layout.
- Refine Object Masks with new smoothness controls for more precise, natural-looking mask edges.
- Enjoy three new and updated effects: a fully customizable Lens Flare for cinematic looks, a rebuilt Twirl distortion effect with new controls (the original is now under Legacy), and an updated softness control in Mosaic for crisper, more natural results at low settings.
- Generative Extend now supports more source media, including resolutions from 360p to 4K UHD, any aspect ratio, and interlaced or non-square-pixel footage. You can also extend clips from 12–60 fps, 8-bit to 16-bit, and SDR or HDR sources. Your original media stays unchanged while Premiere generates the extension in a supported format.
- Bring ARRICORE media from ALEXA 35 Xtreme cameras directly into your editing workflow. Expanded support makes it easier to work with footage from this latest ARRI camera workflow in Premiere.
- Take advantage of hardware-accelerated 4:2:2 10-bit decoding for AVC and HEVC in MXF on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.

- Footage with a pixel aspect ratio different from the sequence could appear cropped when effects were applied and the sequence resolution was smaller than the source media.
- After rendering, areas defined by an opacity mask could briefly appear as black.
- Shift did not constrain new vertex placement to the 45-degree angles when drawing a mask path with the Pen Tool .
- Project panel Preview Area thumbnail would redraw when moving Effect Controls panel keyframes.

- Sidecar cache files for Media Intelligence (.prmi) were not used when importing media in cases where the files had been modified after the sidecar was created.
- When playing an audio search result in the Search panel, playback could start with a short delay and the waveform animation could fall out of sync.
- Dragging a marker subclip from the Search panel onto the timeline could fail to place the clip on the timeline.

- Trashing a Production project or folder with a numeric suffix in its name multiple times altered the original number instead of appending a new one, e.g. "Foo_01" became "Foo_1" instead of "Foo_01_1".
- In a Production, moving a project or folder silently failed if an item with the same name already existed in the destination folder.
- Reading project lock file data in a Production could cause the user interface to feel sluggish.
- Changing Pan on multiple audio clips would result in incorrect values of -100 or 100.
