The simulated ocean of Genesis Ascended Part 1 has opened into a massive, map-wide nautical frontier. The new weapons, structures, cosmetics, and exotic creatures included in Tides of Fortune can be unleashed across the ARK universe, but the deep physics-driven waters of Genesis are where this swashbuckling arsenal truly comes alive.
• Naval Fleet: Construct customizable seaworthy vessels at the Shipyard, including the swift Sloop and the towering Brigantine. Transform your ship into a true floating fortress by building out the decks, painting the hull, flying your own Jolly Roger, and sailing into battle with sea shanties ringing over the roar of cannon fire!
• Ship Combat: Take the helm to manually aim and fire your broadside cannons, either solo or as a cooperative multiplayer team! Utilize specialty ammo like Incendiary and Corrosive Cannonballs to give enemy armadas no quarter and send them to Davy Jones' locker, all without micromanaging a crew.
• Ship Skill Tree: Customize your vessel's seafaring capabilities by investing your plunder across three distinct skill trees: Piracy, Merchant, and Luxury.
• Tidepup: As adorable as it is invaluable, this benevolent semi-aquatic salamander specializes in support, protection, and healing. Keep it as a Juvenile shoulder-pet to defend against incoming damage and dispel negative effects, or evolve it into a Mature rideable mount capable of creating a regenerative healing zone for your allies.
• Parrot: Your new feathery friend tracks valuable treasure sources like Cave Crates, Alpha Creatures, and enemy Ships. And by completing missions together, your Parrot can also earn Bonding Feathers, a wildcard resource which substitutes any imprint or passive tame requirement, with effectiveness scaling from your Parrot's stats.
Cinematic Cutscenes & Milestones: Track your survivor's journey through entirely new Milestones! Prove your mastery across a wide range of challenges, from commanding naval fleets and unearthing treasure, to conquering Genesis gauntlets and taming powerful X-Creatures. Achieve these milestones to earn points for deep specialization skill trees, while hitting major thresholds unlocks spectacular cinematic sequences starring Karl Urban as Bob and Auli'i Cravalho as Meeka, continuing the narrative into ARK's future!
Play as a Legend: Step directly into the boots of the myth himself! Tides of Fortune adds a third default character creation option, allowing you to play as "Cinematic Bob", featuring the likeness and voice of Karl Urban. You can also equip Bob's signature look as a full-body cosmetic costume to bring his legendary style to your existing Survivor. All existing costumes, armor, hairstyles, and other cosmetics are compatible with Cinematic Bob!

July: Lumina awakens! Umbra's sun-sworn counterpart takes flight to restore celestial balance. Your guide, HLN-A, offers a wide array of missions at varying difficulty levels for you to tackle at your own pace. ARK Tides of Fortune: Galleon
The Galleon will not be available at launch and is currently planned for release in August.
As our largest ship to date, we’re taking a little extra time to refine it further and make sure it’s ready for a smooth release across all platforms.
Alongside the Galleon, we'll also be introducing new technical systems that will increase the number of player-built structures that can be placed on ships by up to four times, depending on the ship class. This will allow for even larger and more elaborate ship builds once the Galleon is ready to leave port.
