It's a new single-player experience built around hand tracking, where your hands become the weapons. You'll wield Flux Powers like the Flux Tether, which channels power between your palms to slice through notes in time with the beat. That power also surges to your left and right hands, which you'll use to punch through other note targets. Destroying notes builds Jolt energy — squeeze your fists while slicing to trigger a Jolt and earn big scores. Prefer controllers? Flux supports them, too. Flux launches with 35 songs from the Original Soundtracks, Extras, and Anniversary packs — including tracks from Lindsey Stirling, Teminite, DragonForce, Haywyre, Camellia, and Boom Kitty, plus in-house tracks from Jaroslav Beck and Zakka G. More Flux songs are planned after launch. **A refreshed Campaign** We've completely refreshed the single-player Campaign for new and veteran players alike. It now weaves in a light narrative element, brings new barriers and missions, and adds checkpoints that let you unlock exclusive in-game rewards. The user interface got the same treatment — a new menu system that gets you into game modes and new content faster, plus an improved experience for first-time players. **First-ever progression and rewards, including New Sabers! ** For the first time in Beat Saber, an all-new progression and rewards system. Earn cosmetic rewards including new New Sabers, Notes, Bombs,, and show off your personality and achievements with Profile Badges and Banners. It's all tracked in a new inventory system, so you can swap them in and out as you see fit. **A new look** This update also debuts Beat Saber's first logo redesign in nearly a decade, along with new key art. It's a new era for the game — and we kept the red and blue energy you know. **Universal hand tracking** For the first time, you can play all of Beat Saber without controllers. High-fidelity hand tracking lets you slice across the entire song library with your bare hands. Controllers aren't going anywhere — this is one more way to play, not a replacement. **When?** This update is coming in spring 2027 to Meta Quest, Meta VR Glasses and Steam. ### Beat Saber Updated Unity Version 6000.3.19f1 - Date: 2026-09-14 - Original notes: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/620980/view/707782722857206762 - Permalink: https://whatsnew.fyi/product/beat-saber/releases/2026-09-14-beat-saber-updated-unity-version-6000.3.19f1 - **changed** — Upgraded the game to Unity 6000.3.19f1 - **fixed** — Audio corruption when exiting the Credits to the help screen - **fixed** — Bloom and fog stereo rendering was broken on Bigscreen Beyond - **fixed** — Higher frametimes and GPU usage - **fixed** — Lattice environment lasers were missing on high and medium mirror settings - **fixed** — High and medium mirror presets with no bloom failed to display obstacles - **fixed** — High and medium mirror presets displayed incorrect colors with bloom enabled - **fixed** — Render scale setting did not work correctly - **added** — All Axes Toggle button for the Level Editor, forcing all new group events to use all axes by default - **changed** — Index Filter inputs in the Level Editor now clamp to valid ranges, the Limit field shows a percent sign, and fields accept scroll input - **fixed** — Level Editor V1/V2 Ring Rotation and Ring Zoom did not work - **fixed** — Level Editor displayed wrong song name and difficulty in playmode - **fixed** — Level Editor various icons and text had incorrect styling - **fixed** — Level Editor game view was headlocked when FPFC was disabled in the Playback section within Recording - **fixed** — Level Editor play test kept pausing when FPFC was on and no headset was connected - **fixed** — Level Editor arc preview rendered at a different height than the placed arc - **fixed** — Level Editor Half Jump Duration value and beatline did not adjust with vNJS changes - **fixed** — Level Editor overdraw debug readout was stuck at -100% - **fixed** — Level Editor Advanced HUD timing values were incorrect - **fixed** — Level Editor mirroring a selection moved the arcs but left their attached notes and chains behind Hey players, Update v1.45.1 is now available.
