This patch will be focused on fixing some issues regarding FPS drops and some visual changes to Containment. We will also be making small changes to the map over time as we get more player feedback.

This patch will be focused on fixing some issues regarding matchmaking and parties sometimes not being able to find games together.

We have also deployed a fix to the "Failed to write Steam stats" error and replaced Iron Lunge with a new icon.

We are aware that it is not in the Learn tab in-game, as it is linked to the Depth website, and we're currently overhauling it. It will be updated in the future, but it is currently not our main priority.

• Profile overview statistics should now update correctly after each match. You should no longer see "Failed to write Steam stats" error at the match summary page.

• Fixed an issue where matchmaking and parties not being able to find games after an extended duration.

• Improved server stability.

• New icon for Iron Lunge.

This patch will introduce numerous server performance optimizations, starting with the EU region while we monitor the others. This should result in more stable connections and fewer disconnects.

We're also tweaking Iron Lunge by taking away its damage reduction against ammo modifiers (Bleed and Toxin) so that its more manageable. We will continue to monitor it over the coming weeks. We are aware that Iron Lunge is not in the Learn Tab, and we’re working towards adding it into the menu.

We did an oopsie with the return of Iron Lunge (yes, it's back). We accidentally pushed a version of Iron Lunge that was using test values.

Remix Repeating Event

Welcome to the repeating event for Depth, Remix! Remix takes content from previous events like Chinese New Year, Halloween, Christmas and mixes them together!

Get skins such as the Dragon Dance PAT, Legendary Bull or the Aquatekk series of weapons. Each events treasures will have different combinations of skins and there is a special high tier treasure. This special high tier treasure will only contain a skin from the abyssal or hadal tier. We thank you for all the support over the years and hope you've enjoyed your time in Depth!

Retro-Future Christmas Event

Retro-future tech stolen from a company that went bankrupt in the 50s has flooded the black market. This technology was pulled from shelves due to significant safety issues, but it has provided divers with some deadly new opportunites.

Meanwhile temperatures rise and cause flooding from depleting glaciers, unleashing their ancient horrors back into the seas. Unstable retrofitted technology such as the Current Rifle and the recalled toy Blaster have become popular choices for self-defense. Other divers swim in retro style after buying up old uniforms of an underwater superhero, The Scubateer! Many hope using this unstable old technology will ensure them a big payday and a Merry Christmas!

Sea of the Dead Event

Dark power emanates from the Gulf of Mexico to the Caribbean Sea as the Day of the Dead approaches. As sharks and divers return to life, they arrive with new forms or weapons crackling with deathly energies.

Unearthly sharks such as the Spectre and Revenant stalk the waves once again, having been summoned from their spiritual lairs. Spiritual residues have allowed the creation of weapons made of living bones and feathers, like the Finger of Death speargun. Others have turned to old rituals or magic to protect themselves, such as bringing medical kits adorned with teeth that terrify even sharks.

Operation Seafog Event

It was commonly believed that the last of the Specimen prototypes had been destroyed after naval conflicts in the early 2000s. This was soon proved wrong, as an accidental reactivation of a dormant CIA facility unleashed a new wave of cyber-sharks!

Now secret underwater agents, including Jim Lake, compete to contain this new threat or steal the designs for nefarious means! Meanwhile the Specimen-6 Lemon prototype causes terror whenever it appears at marinas, beach resorts or where divers are trying to get treasure. Classic weapons have been made waterproof, while recent developments in clandestine DPV technology allow divers to ride cute mechanical turtle friends.

Ragnarok Event

Now the North Atlantic teems with shipwreck raiding divers and sharks seeking glorious battles!

Sharks imbued with the energies of Valhalla and Hel flow into the Atlantic. This has led to sightings of sharks with mystical tattoos or who are armored in debris of Viking longships. In response, many diving teams have begun to incorporate mystical technologies from newly discovered Viking artefacts.

Blood in the Pacific Event

Rumors of sunken WWII warships in the Pacific carrying treasures from occupied countries have drawn divers and sharks to old battlegrounds.

Former pilots have turned to diving to look for hidden loot caches or lost mementos from the war. Scarred and mutilated Pacific tiger sharks remember the horrors of war all too well, still searching the waters for vengeance. Repurposing some old depth charges has proven to be an efficient way of getting around underwater.

Dive into unknown waters to brave a shark that has eaten its fill of Kraken! Unlock ancient technologies such as the Tentajet DPV or Titan Piercer Speargun to repel Atlantis' defenders. Use adorable Chinese New Year themed Year of the Ox plushie mines to keep the sharks at bay to profit from the Spoils of Atlantis!
