12.1a Hotfix
- Demotion Protection system was removed so players lose an additional 50 RP when demoted
- Characters will no longer be incorrectly eliminated when moving to a Final Safe Zone area on Night 6
We will be rolling out the 12.1a Hotfix at 10:15 AM (UTC).
*Some changes may not be applied to tooltips or Practice modes.
[Bug Fix]
- Characters will no longer be incorrectly eliminated when moving to a Final Safe Zone area on Night 6.
Earlier today, Ranked Mode was temporarily disabled to fix an error causing players moving into the Final Safe Zone on Night 6 to die.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to your Ranked experience. Ranked Mode will be available again as normal after the 12.1a Hotfix is applied. Additionally, the Update 12.1 patch notes omitted the removal of the Demotion Protection system that was applied right before tier demotions in last week's Update 12.0. Just as you gain an extra 50 RP on top of your game results when promoted, you will lose an additional 50 RP when demoted.
We will provide further details regarding this through an FAQ.
