3.2.0~rc3Pre-release
Here is a third release candidate for upcoming GIMP 3.2. We are still hoping it may be the last as we approach reasonable stability. Improvements include:
- Font loading on start massively sped up
- XCF files won't start loading anymore before all fonts are loaded
- Dropping a color or pattern on a vector layer updates its fill property
- Curves and Levels now default to working in linear working space
The Flip tool can now be controlled with arrow keys
The Shear tool can now be adjusted with arrow keys
The Delete button in Layers dialog will delete the layer mask if selected
- The DDS plug-in now supports exporting in BC7 format
- The OpenEXR plug-in can now import Luminance/Chroma OpenEXR images
- Palette swatches from the Procreate art program can now be imported
- Swatchbooker palette support was improved with better color management
- Several libgimp functions deprecated in favor of using the filter API directly
- Various fixes and usability updates
