Decorator Monke have been in and made some changes, it has that OG feel while still having some of the new stuff at hand.

We’ve moved a number of maps here, giving them a new home. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get this ready, and we really hope you love what we’ve built.

🦴 VIM Fossil Hunt

With a twist on a VIM, the dig experience now has Fossils.

Grab your friends, hop into the elevator, and head to a new zone where you can dig and search for fossils.

It's a new way to explore and play together, how many can you collect?

🛒 New Cosmetics!

There's a new batch of cosmetics.

Unlike most updates, these will only be available for 2 weeks instead of 4 as we adjust our Bundle timing to line up with our plans for the next few months.

A new batch will arrive on September 18th, along with a new Bundle, so make sure to grab anything you want while you can!

Virtual Stump is now called Destinations, It has its own spot in the Good Monke Mall.

You'll notice two side tunnels. These aren't ready just yet - we're putting the finishing touches on them and fixing a few last-minute bugs before we open them up.

🌎🚀 This Super update is out of this world! SUPER modes in Spacemap! Grab a gadget or spawn some in for friends then mess with gravity. Curve those Logger blasts around a planet. 🌎💥 for a cosmic trick shot. There are some seriously fun ways to play. We think this addition is pretty ‘Super’. 🚀

New space-age materials have been discovered that make Friendship Bracelets work in space. Has science has gone too far?

In-game QOL improvements -Fixed some times a rare sound bug could break audio in game. If it happens again, let us know where! 🔊✨ -Added anti-hacking changes to throwable Barrels and similar cosmetics. -PVP balancing with cosmetics in Paint Brawl making it fairer, not all projectiles pop balloons in that mode. -Continuing the VStump love 💙 there are Luau stability fixes.

Early Access Room Controls

Starting first with VIM's, we're rolling out Room Controls in early access for private lobbies. Hosts (Player at the top of the board) will be able to Mute, Kick, and Block players, giving you more control over your own space than ever before.

🔇 Silence: mutes a player for everyone in the room and can be toggled on or off at any time.

👟 Kick: removes a player from the room, but they can rejoin.

🔒 Block: removes a player and prevents them from rejoining that room while it remains active.

Blocks/Mutes are room-specific and do not carry over if the room is closed and reopened.

Dig!

Just like the VIM Volcano, we're creating a new shareable space. Anyone with the VIM can bring their friends, or whoever they fancy into the caves to explore together.

There's one small difference this time. You have to dig.

Carve tunnels through the dirt, create shortcuts, build hiding spots, or clear out every last chunk you can find. There are no set objectives, no timers, and no right way to do it.

The caves are yours to explore.

Grab a Pick ⛏️ or experiment with some existing cosmetics and pick how you play it.

💌 GTFC: Send a Message to Lemming We are also introducing a brand-new Fan Club feature that gives VIM’s a direct way to send messages to Lemming.

While he and the team won’t be able to personally reply to messages, he will be reading through them. Whether it’s feedback, ideas, encouragement, funny moments, or things you want him to see, this is a new way for the community to share directly with him.

Community feedback across Discord, and other social medias, and all of our existing channels remains incredibly important to us and is not changing. We are not treating in-game letters as “more valuable” feedback. This is simply another way for players to connect with the team.

Gorilla Corp Public Notice

On January 10th, (11AM PST, 2PM EST, 7PM GMT) There is a Countdown Clock is in City. Gorilla Corp invites all citizens to visit City to observe a scheduled celestial event.

A comet is expected to pass through our skies in what our scientific partners are describing as a probable near miss. Based on current projections, the object should pass by City without incident. While its proximity may appear dramatic, there is no confirmed evidence at this time to suggest a direct impact.

As a purely cautionary measure, Gorilla Corp has completed upgrades to windows and surrounding structures within City. These improvements do not indicate an increased risk. They should not be taken as a sign of lack of confidence in our observations!

Super Casual is a new way to enjoy the game with friends, no rounds, no pressure, no objectives. Jump in, use gadgets, explore maps, just want to play, and hang out, for as long as you want. Super Casual is available in more maps than before, giving you new ways to enjoy the spaces you love.

Available Game Modes - Super Casual / Super Infection / Casual / Infection.

Keeping it Casual, PVP gadgets such as Blasters are disabled in this mode.

Ever needed a helping hand or just wanted to try something new with your fellow Monke?

Introducing Take My Hand a new way to cooperate, experiment, and create monkey chains of pure chaos (or teamwork, depending on your vibe).

Here’s what you can do with it:

• Can’t quite reach that branch? A friend can lean down and pull you up!
• Your friends stuck at the beach? Reach down and haul them out!
• Facing a tricky long jump? Someone can reach out and grab you mid-leap!
• Want to form a Monke chain across the Forest? One Monke grabs a branch, another grabs their hand, and another grabs their hand... you get the idea.

Unlike Guardian, there’s no forced grabbing here. If you don’t want to hold hands, just let go of grip! Easy as that.

We hope this brings new fun, exploration, and very silly moments to your Monke life.

One of the most requested features over the years is finally becoming reality.

This is our take on skill-based matchmaking for competitive minded players. It’s not meant to replace amazing community leagues like GTC they’re still the gold standard for serious organized play, but it offers a low-pressure, built-in way to test yourself, improve, and climb the ladder.

No signups, no spreadsheets - just jump in, tag, and climb through the ranks. You will find it located in the City Competitive Course.

🏆 How it works:

• We’ll be starting with 1 map daytime-only Forest, no seasonal set dressing, so the map stays consistent for competitive play.
• Ranked uses MMR-based matchmaking to match you with similarly skilled players.
• PC players will only match with PC, and Quest with Quest.
• Matches start with 4 or more players.
• Timed infection rounds keep the pace tight.
• Welcoming for newcomers, with plenty of room for grinders to rise and shine.
