Boss Improvements

  • Removed a majority of the stun and freeze immunity windows from all versions of the Tor Gul, the Defiler boss fight.

  • Improved the Minion Phase in the Tasgul, Swallower of Light fight.

  • Fixed a bug where It That Was Esh could sometimes fail to advance phases properly.

  • Fixed a bug where the Arbiter of Divinity could rarely drop loot in an unreachable location.

  • Defeating the Arbiter of Divinity now re-enables the exit elevator.

  • Extended the time the player has to get into the first Flame Seed during the combo skill that begins with the Large Laser in the Arbiter of Ash boss fight.

  • The voiceline used by the Arbiter of Ash when doing his skill which creates lanes of fiery death now plays at the start of the skill, instead of after he rises up to the air.

  • Made the following improvements to the Vessel of Kulemak boss fight:

  • Fixed an issue where it could get stuck after its Teleport Slam skill.

  • Disabled the skill used during the final phase of the fight that summoned minions.

  • The Volatiles spawned during the final phase of the fight now spawn in bursts, with a significantly longer time between each burst. This is to allow for more time to fight and damage the boss.

  • Improved the visual feedback of the portals during the final phase. Further improvements to these will be coming at a later time.

  • Adjusted the blocking of the abyss in the middle of the arena during the final phase to more closely reflect the actual shape.

  • Fixed a bug where after killing the Vessel of Kulemak for the first time in a given instance, reviving at checkpoint would not put players in a new instance.

  • Made the following improvements to the Arbiter of Divinity boss fight:

  • The voicelines used by the boss are now guaranteed for his notable skills, as opposed to having a low chance to play.

  • Improved telegraphing and visuals of the Dashing Sunders skill.

  • The Dashing Sunders skill now correctly deals Physical damage, instead of Cold Damage.

  • Reduced the frequency and count of projectiles fired by the Generator.

  • Removed the chilling ground from the projectiles fired by the Generator.

  • The Generator will now stop firing projectiles during the Gravity Well and the Turret Sunder phases.

  • The Gravity Well phase will now correctly hit you if you fail to make it to the safe zones anywhere in the arena. Previously you could avoid this by hiding behind the spheres in the four corners.

  • Gravity Wells can no longer be created outside of the arena.

  • If you fail the Gravity Well phase while Shapeshifted you are now transformed back into a human and thrown into the air. Previously nothing would happen to your character and you'd just take damage without knowing why.

  • Improved the visuals of the 'dash' skills to look more like a teleport as intended.

Expedition Improvements

  • Logbooks that add a Boss Expedition now prioritise replacing regular Maps over Grand Expeditions.

  • Modifiers in Grand Expedition now appear in the map stats list when inside the area.

  • Fixed a bug where Barren Atoll did not have a Grand Expedition Map Marker.

  • Fixed a bug where Underground Areas in Expeditions and Grand Expeditions could sometimes spawn with all their monsters dead. This would occur if the underground area was opened with an explosive that also activated a Remnant encounter and that Remnant encounter had the Life Rune. The monsters in the underground area would then have their life shared with the Remnant monsters and would thus be killed when the Remnant monsters were defeated. This was also why Styrn, Fallen Knight of Aldur would sometimes be dead when entering his cave.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from rerolling remnants when using a controller.

  • Fixed a bug where the loot from Underground Areas in Expeditions and Grand Expeditions could be redirected to a Verisium Remnant. This would cause the monsters in the underground areas to appear to drop no items.

  • Fixed an issue where underground areas in Grand Expedition could sometimes be accessed without detonating the entrance.

  • Fixed a bug where Oath Rune could spawn monsters in blocked or inaccessible areas.

  • Fixed a bug with Verisium Remnants in Grand Expeditions where monsters (without Oath Rune necessarily) could spawn out-of-bounds and prevent completion.

  • Fixed a bug where the following Grand Expedition areas could be attempted infinitely: Craggy Peninsula, Lush Isle, Frigid Bluffs, Barren Atoll, and Exhumed Ruins.

  • Fixed a bug where the From Distances Untold Cleansed Atlas Passive Skill was applying to non-Cleansed areas.

  • Fixed a bug where the Sole Purpose: Destruction Breach Atlas Passive Skill was not increasing damage of Skills granted by Ailith.

  • Fixed a bug where the Training and Preparation Atlas Passive Skill did not apply when opening the Temple of Atziri from the Vaal Ruins in Act 3.

  • This patch contains a wide range of improvements to the endgame, making investment feel more rewarding across the board, improving scaling for late game players, and ensuring that each mechanic has clearer opportunities for risk and reward.

Runes of Aldur Changes

  • The maximum number of Remnants in a Grand Expedition now increases per Waystone Tier, with the highest number of Remnants possible to be found in Tier 15+ Maps.

  • Grand Expedition chests have been greatly improved:

  • All the basic Weapon and Armour chests have been removed. Now you should find an abundance of Chests which drop Currency, Unique Items and Waystones. Additonally there are now mysterious chests that drop regular items and trinket chests both of which drop items with a very high Rarity bonus.

  • You can now place 15 Explosives (from 20) in a Grand Expedition to reduce the length of the encounter, combined with the higher value chests and increased number of Remnants your decisions will also be more important.

  • Styrn, Fallen Knight of Aldur in the Tomb of the Fallen Knight now always drops an Expedition Logbook.

  • The Runic Modifiers on Monsters granted by Runic Inscriptions now improve the rewards of the Monsters more significantly. These have in most cases been doubled, in some cases significantly more.

  • Improved the performance of Fragments of the Past's mortar explosion effect and reduced the amount of blur used by the effect.

Endgame Changes

  • Previously attempted Maps now additionally have 50% reduced Experience earned on top of the already penalised Item Rewards.

  • Followers of the King in the Mists have taken up residence within the maze in the Crux of Nothingness, and aim to kill you as you try to escape the maze.

Delirium Changes

  • Simulacrums now start at 100% Delirious, scaling up to 200%. This was previously intended to be 0% scaling up to 100%, but was actually not working at all.

  • Simulacrum Maps are no longer spawned immediately when spreading Delirium fog on the Atlas. Instead, they are now spawned when reaching 100% Deliriousness in the fog bank.

  • Maps with Fog on the Atlas now have their special Mirror Shards shown on the Delirium Progress bar, with a player distance indicator and slight visual changes to indicate the player is in fog anywhere in the map. This is purely a visual change.

  • The You can't just wake up from this one Notable Delirium Passive Skill now also provides Simulacrums now spawn Shards between Waves, allowing a single selection:

  • Escalating Threats: Adds an additional Modifier to the area. These modifiers generally add danger and reward.

  • Apex Predators: Adds an additional Boss to the Encounter.

  • Pure Emotions: Adds additional monster packs to the encounter.

  • The Are you sure you want to do that? Notable Delirium Atlas Passive Skill no longer grants Tablets have double Effect in areas with a Grand Mirror, instead now granting Areas with Grand Mirrors also have a Delirium Mirror. It also now provides 20% chance Shards within Simulacrums allow multiple selections.

  • The You thought you were free? Notable Delirium Passive Skill has had its wording updated to 25% chance an additional Simulacrum is transformed when Delirium Fog reaches 100% Deliriousness. This change is just to reflect the overall changed functionality and will result in the same number of Simulacrums.

  • The scaling of Delirium Fog has been halved to make Delirium not as difficult when encountering it early in the Endgame. To make up for this, Delirium Tablets now scale the effect of the Delirium Fog when using multiple Tablets, including Maps with Grand Mirrors or those within Fog Banks. When using three Delirium Tablets the scaling will be at its previous value.

  • Improved Delirium Pure Escalation shards, these will now enhance all normal shards to release Pure Emotion Delirium Monster packs, as opposed to just the special Shards that were on the Bar. You can now also see when these shards are enhanced as they are imbued with a purple glassy energy.

  • Added additional Monsters to the Loathsome Mire.

  • Summoning Circle encounters now pause Delirium Fog. It is paused when starting the encounter, and paused again when defeating the boss spawned by the Summoning Circle.

The Runes of Aldur League
  • Start fresh in a new economy with the Runes of Aldur league.

  • In each area in the Runes of Aldur League you will find a Remnant which allows you to craft an item of your choosing by using Runic Recipes engraved into the slots on the Remnant.

  • Depending on the Runeshapes used, you will then face an encounter with tough enemies that you will need to defeat to claim your item

  • Each additional runeshape used to craft the item will increase the number of waves of enemies, adding additional runic modifiers to the enemies with each wave.

  • Remnants start with any number of slots between 2 and 10 with higher numbers being much rarer, but allowing you to craft much rarer items.

  • Monsters raised by Remnants can drop Verisium metal, a new currency.

  • Added new NPC Farrow with 4 new quests in the campaign allowing you to unlock various new crafting features.

  • New Crafting System: Verisium Runeforging

  • After unlocking Verisum Runeforging in Act 1 this system allows you to add Runic Ward to your armours by spending verisium. Armours lower than level 55 gain Runic Ward with no downside. Armours above this level trade some of their regular base defences for Runic Ward.

  • Added new defence: Runic Ward. This defence kicks in once you reach 1 life allowing you to continue to survive while your Runic Ward takes damage. Runic Ward regenerates independently of your life.

  • Added 13 new Alloy currency items, which can be unlocked through Remnant encounters after completing Farrow's quest in Act 2. These items add various new crafted modifiers to items by replacing an existing modifier, similar to Perfect Essences.

  • After unlocking Unique Verisium Runeforging in Act 3 you can upgrade the base type of unique armours that drop at levels lower than 55. These upgrades generally increase base defences allowing low level unique armours to become more competitive in the endgame. Unique Armours above level 55 can still be Runeforged to modify their defences to include runic ward at the cost of reducing their other defenses similar to the base types.

  • Unique Verisium Runeforging has additional properties when used on Kalguuran Uniques.

  • Added 13 Ancient Runes which can be unlocked to be crafted by Remnant encounters after completing Farrow's quest in Act 4. These runes have powerful bonuses specific to each weapon type.

  • Added 13 Mythical early game runes that can be crafted from Remnant encounters to provide significant boosts to level 15+ characters.

  • Added 3 Fluxes which can be crafted from Remnants to transform the resistances on your items from one element to another.

  • Added 15 Meta crafting runes that can be crafted from remnants.

  • Added 60+ runes that can be created by destroying a unique to make a rune that gains some of its properties.

  • Added 15+ Runic Ward Runes that can be crafted from Remnants, adding or modifying properties related to Runic Ward.

  • Added 21 Kalguuran Skills that can be crafted from Remnants: Animus Exchange, Animus Splinters, Bitter Dead, Conductive Runes, Detonate Living, Eternal March, Explosive Transmutation, Fragments of the Past, Frostflame Nova, Grim Pillars, Hollow Shell, Leylines, Powered by Verisium, Refutation, Remnants of Kalguur, Repulsion, Runic Reprieve, Skyfall, Triskelion Cascade, Verisium Manifestations, and Voltaic Barrier.

With Wraeclast laying in ruin after the devastating cataclysm, an ancient fortress has risen from the earth. Enter the fortress, discover its secrets, and its rewards.

The fortress contains many new areas, new bosses, and new map mechanics. Should you reach its center, a devastating challenge awaits.

Exploring the fortress will also unlock the new 300+ node Atlas Passive Tree, completely redesigned with new and powerful abilities.

The Masters of the Atlas are willing to teach you their skills, but only if you are willing to help them. Uncover powerful artefacts with Jado, hunt deadly monsters with Hilda, or cleanse the corruption with Doryani.

The Hiveborn, grotesque creatures from a strange realm, seek to escape their world and overrun another. Ailith and the Keepers of the Flame have held them at bay, but their numbers are fading as the Hiveborn continue to grow, forcing Ailith to call on Exiles to take the fight to them.

While helping Aoife, discover a different threat entirely - a threat more ancient, lurking in the darkness below.

Head into the Wildwood to accept the Rite of the Nameless, a series of endgame encounters, each more difficult than the last. Become the champion by completing them all, and perform the final ritual in the Wildwood to face Bodach, a new pinnacle boss that embodies darkness itself.
