• Added a new editor setting to disable highlighting and applying of Markdown text formatting across multiple lines; it is enabled by default (for #3690)
• Whitespace markers in the note editor can now use a separate foreground color configured in the editor color scheme (for #3670)
• Added an Insert footnote action to the Edit menu and the note editor context menu that inserts a footnote reference with the next free number at the current cursor position, adds the footnote definition at the end of the note, and jumps there to enter the footnote text (for #3714)
• The Joplin importer now preserves notes' original modification dates, allowing imported notes to be sorted by their actual update time (for #3715, thank you, @MySkeletonHurts)
