Here's a quick outline of how it works: ** - DLC weapons: Free for all players - DLC maps: Free in multiplayer if the lobby host owns the DLC - DLC cosmetics: DLC purchase needed ** Within the changelog "Base game update changes" refers to the general changes that will be included for everyone as part of the base game and are not related to the DLC. "DLC Exclusive changes" refers to the handful of changes that will only be accessible via DLC ownership.
