ReSharper 2026.2.0.2 This build fixes a problem that stopped the external service for Junie AI agent, spell-checking, and SQL/NoSQL support from starting (RSRP-501396). This problem caused the ReSharper auxiliary service failed notification to appear. If you are upgrading from ReSharper 2026.1.X or earlier, here are the highlights of the 2026.2 release:

  • Preview of ACP-based agent support in Visual Studio, starting with Junie, JetBrains' own LLM-agnostic agent.
  • Out-of-Process mode is now enabled by default.
  • dotTrace, dotMemory, and Monitoring now work in Out-of-Process mode.
  • Improved C# analysis with more collection-expression cases and enhanced Extract Method that detects duplicates.
  • .editorconfig and Roslyn analyzer integration, including adjusting compiler warnings from the Alt+Enter menu.
  • Revamped Import missing references popup with no flickering and smarter placement.
  • C++ updates: C++26 reflection, constexpr evaluation improvements, ISPC support, and new inspections.
  • Faster, more memory-efficient processing of .cshtml and .razor files, plus reduced startup indexing allocations. For the full list of updates included in this release, click here.
