Here is a list of fixes and changes from the July 28, 2026 update.

Mail Delete Function

– The delete button is now available for all mails currently in your in-game mailbox. ( The button is now available for almost any mail currently in your mailbox, excluding auction mails. For any mail that is related to a purchase error, we highly recommend not deleting the mail if you are currently in contact with Customer Support for a purchase issue. Please note: Any item attached to the mail will be lost and cannot be recovered. Please delete mails with caution.)

**Battle Pass **

– The upcoming Battle Pass has been scheduled. For more information, please check the official website post.

**Bug / Fixes **

– Resolved an issue where the Pathfinder wardrobe set wasn’t correctly unlocked once acquired. ( Once the Pathfinder set was acquired, it was unlocking the Harrowing wardrobe set; the Pathfinder bundle was therefore removed and replaced with the Harrowing bundle. To acquire items identical to the Pathfinder set, please check the Skulking set; it is vastly the same.)

– The following items have seen their functionality adjusted:

1. Mad Doctor’s Syringe
2. Empowered Mad Doctor’s Syringe

Removed the ability to polymorph other players. The trinkets can now only polymorph the caster.

( This change is due to reports of continued harassment, where a player is forced into a state they didn’t wish to be in.)

New Mount

– The “Summer Splash Surfboard” has been added.

– Implemented visual fixes for capes introduced in a previous patch.

– Updated the contents of a package that shows items that are no longer available.

– The “Winter Spirit Wings” have been added.

Instances adjustments

– Instances are no longer hosted on the Reclaimer shard (EU/NA).

(We have made adjustments to where instances are hosted to exclude the trial-only shard Reclaimer due to reported gameplay issues whenever any instance was hosted on Reclaimer.)

– All items sold by NPC Nox Alar in Tempest Bay are now significantly cheaper.

(The price of all items is now reduced to 1/6th of their original price)

– The “Necrovoid Tegulisk” has been added.

– Resolved an issue with the weekly battle pass quest “Anomaly Tamer”, where several quests would not count towards its progress. – Resolved an issue where the “Dominion Elite” chest piece would clip with cape gear.

– New titles for community events have been added (Titles for Dungeon Dash, Ascended Trial: Bloodstorm and Rift Hunter have been introduced. More information on these titles will become available once each respective event has been announced. Every title is for a single character only.)

**Battle Pass **

• The Vein of Glory Battle Pass will rerun, starting from May 12, 2026.

NEW – Tutorial Skip

• It is now possible to skip the tutorial zone for both Guardian and Defiant by talking with Fluffy, Destroyer of Worlds.

_(NOTE: By skipping the tutorial using this method, you will forfeit any items and experience points gained from the tutorial area, making your starting adventure on Telara possibly more difficult.) _

**Changes **

– Summon Friend cooldown has been reduced.

1. Ascend-A-Friend Friend Summon has been reduced from 30 minutes -> 20 minutes.

2. Black Loyalty tier Friend Summon has been reduced from 15 minutes -> 10 minutes.

Miscellaneous

– Removed several duplicate background images.

– Resolved an issue that could cause RIFT to crash under certain circumstances.

– Corrected the tooltip for the ability Assassinate.

_(It will now reflect that it requires Stealth to be used. This ability remains usable outside of Stealth if Legendary Thread of Death is active.) _

– Resolved an issue where Shield of the Hero was incorrectly boosting healing from the caster rather than other players.

Mount Fixes

– Resolved an issue with the Greathound Frostbitten’s textures.

– The “Demon Kitsune” was added.

Bug Fixes

• Adjusted the CTA display window to allow subsequent of the same CTA to have the correct display date.

(Previously, a scheduled CTA would only show the correct date for the first instance, while subsequent ones would show the same date as the first one, therefore being incorrect. Now all dates will show correctly when opening the event window).

Seasonal and events

– Adjusted certain CTA events with overlapping dates. – Scheduled certain missing events.

**Localization Fix **

– Cleric: Oracle Soul – Removed the section of the ability Icy Cascade where healing would be increased by 100% for each Emblem consumed. (The section of the tooltip that describes healing being increased from Emblems has been long deprecated but never removed from the ability description. Icy Cascade will however still benefit from increased healing from Devouring Emblems and Tempered Emblems.)

New Mount

– The “Amaryn Thryrix” has been added.

– XP Locking is now available once again.

(The XP Lock feature that was originally disabled has now returned to RIFT. To activate the lock, open Settings > Interface > Misc > Lock XP).

Battle Pass

– Battle Pass Season 3 returns on February 4, 2026!

(Keep an eye on our website for more information!).

Bug Fixes and Changes

– Resolved an issue where unavailable shards were visible in the Search tab of the Dimensions UI.

– Resolved an issue where the owner column in the Search tab would display as charactername@Unknown.

New Mount

– A new mount “Faerus” has been added.

Dimension UI updates

– Updated the name display for the Cross Shard (Weekly) and Cross Shard (All Time). (The “Owner” column will now be displayed as “charactername@shardname”) – Updated the name display for the Search tab of the Dimension UI. (The “Owner” column will now be displayed as “charactername@shardname”) – The Search tab of the Dimension UI is now cross shard. (Please note: The search function will only work within each region; i.e. European shards will not be seen in North American shards and vice versa.)

Localization Fixes

– The tooltip of the Glyph of the Shalistiri has been updated to better reflect its functionality.

Bug Fixes

– Resolved an issue where, while in the Mounts window, scrolling would not work when no mount was present on the right-side column. – Resolved an issue where the ability Ebb and Flow and its legendary version could be active at the same time. – Resolved an issue where the ability Swirling Winds and its legendary version could be active at the same time. – Resolved an issue where the ability Empyrean Ascension and its legendary version could be active at the same time.

Known Issues

• When searching for characters or dimensions in the Search tab, the owner column will show charactername@unknownshard.
• When selecting a shard in the Search tab, several unavailable shards are displayed. Selecting a currently active shard will yield results as normal.

– Resolved an issue that prevented the “Creepy Crawler Portrait Badge” from being obtained from the Mask-A-Raid: 2015 achievement. – Resolved an issue that, under certain circumstances, allowed multiple buff abilities to be unintentionally active at the same time.

**Miscellaneous **

– A new tab for cosmetic wings has been introduced in RIFT’s in-game store.
