We’ll continue monitoring your feedback closely and work to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

New Feature: Snap / Grid System

One of the most requested features is finally here!

During placement mode, you can now enable the Grid System to precisely align shelves, racks, and other furniture. You can also quickly snap furniture pieces together with the press of a button, making store organization faster, cleaner, and more intuitive than ever.

The grid size is fully customizable, allowing you to organize your store exactly the way you want. Whether you're creating perfectly aligned aisles or fine-tuning your store layout, the new Snap / Grid System gives you greater control over furniture placement and store design.

Please note: With the introduction of the new Grid System, the dimensions of some furniture items have been slightly adjusted to better fit the grid layout. As a result, some furniture in existing stores may overlap or clip into each other after updating. This is expected and can be easily resolved by repositioning the affected furniture.

Additions
  • Added Snap / Grid System**.**

Patch 1.2.2

Hello everyone,

We've been receiving lots of feedback after DLC releases both for main game and DLCs so we started to work on fixes. Thanks a lot for all the feedback!

Here are fixes:
  • Fixed several UI issues when using a gamepad.

  • Fixed an issue where the Vending Machine did not display the correct amount of collected money on its screen.

  • Fixed an issue where Vending Machine positions were not displayed correctly on the map and minimap.

  • Fixed an issue where NPCs could disappear due to incorrect NPC IDs in save files.

  • Fixed an issue with the Ice Cream DLC license check.

  • Fixed an issue where DLC licenses could cause problems if the DLC was refunded.

  • Fixed an issue where garbage and dirt were not cleared from save files, causing them to reappear after loading.

  • Fixed an issue where dirt could spawn outside of store boundaries.

  • Fixed an issue where customer animation do not function properly.

What's Next?

We've investigated more than those issues and found out that lots of bugs (flying boxes, random empty box spawns during loading, and incorrect products appearing on shelves) are caused by flaws in the restocker logic.

As a result, we’ve decided to fully rewrite the restocker system to improve both performance and reliability. This will take some time but it will address many of the current issues.

However, this does not mean there will be no updates until then!

We'll release frequent (Probably weekly or even more frequent) patches till we fix every bug in Supermarket Simulator.

Based on your feedback about the Baker NPC in Bakery DLC, we are having a serious “discussion” with him about his baking habits. He’s agreed to improve, becoming more helpful and hopefully baking fewer bagels. You can expect a much better baker very soon.

Please note that some issues are caused by mods. Mods can modify save files in ways that conflict with game updates. Since mods are not officially supported, issues caused by them may not be addressed at this time.

Thank you for your patience and support.

See you in a bug-free Supermarket Simulator asap!

And made some improvements...
  • Various performance optimizations for smoother gameplay

  • Fixed various UI and hint errors

Also... As some of you might be aware, there was an issue where unauthorized access to multiplayer sessions allowed for store names to be changed. Initially, we thought this was just a prank or a joke, as we've encountered similar situations in the past with Supermarket Simulator.

Unfortunately, due to our inexperience, we misled our community management team and Discord moderators which caused them to mishandle the situation. We misjudged the nature of the event and, in turn, miscommunicated with all of you.

Upon learning the truth, we immediately worked with Photon, the multiplayer service providers we use, to identify the underlying issue, which turned out to be a vulnerability in the multiplayer infrastructure we were using.

We have now implemented a hotfix to address this vulnerability and ensure that such incidents do not occur again.

We understand that some of you might feel concerned about your security, and we want to assure you that no personal data is collected or processed in our game. There is no significant risk to your privacy, and you can continue enjoying the game without worry.

We truly apologize for this inconvenience. We’re doing everything we can to improve and ensure the best experience for our players.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

What's next?
