The Crew 2 – April 2026 Update

Last October, we rolled out Hybrid Mode in The Crew 2, giving you the opportunity to launch the game either online or offline.

Since then, we’ve read tons of your messages and feedback about this new mode and just want to say thank you for all the enthusiasm and support!

With the help of your incredibly valuable feedback, which has led to the release of this update, it’s helped us shape this Hybrid mode even further to add more features you have been asking for.

FEATURES

Up until now, adding and saving your liveries was impossible in your offline session. With this update, one of most requested features you have been asking for is now possible, and you’ll be able to create and add your favourite customization to your offline save.

Offline “My livery” menu is now available

• You can now create new liveries here

• There, you’ll be able to find the liveries you’ve created offline and those you saved from online

• You can now create and save sticker groups (custom forms) as well as those you saved from online

Online “My livery” export

We know that some of the best liveries have already been created by other players. That’s why we’re also giving you the option to save your favourite online liveries to your offline save!

• You can now save offline liveries from the online mode (Save offline button)

• You can now save offline sticker groups (custom forms) from the online mode (Save offline button)

STATISTICS

You told us that statistics regarding your progression and your vehicles were missing, and that this was something important to you!

That’s why you can now add your statistics from Online to your Offline save.

• Pilot statistics can be added into your offline profile

• Vehicles statistics can be added into your offline profile

• Offline statistics now progress on your offline save

USER INTERFACE

After launching the offline mode, it could be frustrating to have to relaunch the game to switch between offline and online mode.

That’s why we’ve added an option in the menu to allow you to back to the login screen, so that you can dive straight back in.

We hope this update added some of the features you had been hoping for to make your The Crew 2 offline experience the best it can be!

First announced during our The Crew Showcase 2024 and confirmed earlier this year by Grégory Corgié, Producer on The Crew franchise, we're excited to announce that Hybrid Mode for The Crew 2 is available now.

With this update, players can now switch between the original online experience of The Crew 2 and a brand-new offline mode, letting you enjoy the game even without an internet connection. This represents a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to ensuring long-term access to The Crew 2 for all players.

What is Hybrid Mode?

Hybrid Mode gives you the freedom to choose how you want to play The Crew 2:

• Online Mode: The original experience as it was designed from the start, complete with multiplayer features, leaderboards, summits, and community sharing.

• Offline Mode: A new experience that allows you to continue playing without requiring an internet connection.

When launching the game, if your console or PC is connected to the internet, you'll be able to select whether to play online or offline. If no internet connection is detected, the game will automatically launch in Offline Mode.

How the system works

To bring your progression into Offline Mode, simply select ""Export to Offline Save"" after your session online. This will create a copy of your multiplayer progression stored locally on your console or PC.

It's important to note:

• Online and offline saves are separate. Progress made offline will not carry back over into your online save.

• For example: if you buy the Bugatti La Voiture Noire while playing offline, it won't appear in your online garage the next time you reconnect to multiplayer.

• At any time, you can re-export your online save to update your offline file, but doing so will overwrite your previous offline save and erase any offline-only progression.

Accessing Content and Rewards

If you've purchased vehicle packs, the Season Pass, or unlocked rewards via Ubisoft Connect, make sure to claim them in The House or any HQ while playing online. Once claimed, these items will be included in your exported offline save and available the next time you play without a connection.

Crew Credits and Offline Saves When you choose Export to Offline Save your current Crew Credits balance is included in the offline save file. That offline balance can be used to purchase eligible items while playing in Offline Mode, for example, vehicles available in the offline catalogue. However, some items that are only purchasable via the online Crew Credits storefront (notably vanity items and some bundles) are not available in Offline Mode. If you purchase additional Crew Credits while online after exporting, you must re-export your Online Save to update your Offline Save and include the newly purchased credits.

What's Different in Offline Mode?

Because The Crew 2 was built first and foremost as a multiplayer experience, some features won't be accessible when playing offline.

Here's what's not available in Offline Mode:

• Crew Credits purchases (vehicle bundles, vanity items) and the Far & Beyond shop in all 4 Hubs.

• LIVE Summits.

• All multiplayer content, including PvP, Crews, crew features, news feed, leaderboards, ghosts, and statistics menus. Only your own best times will be recorded per race.

• UGC features, including the Race Creator and Livery Editor. Custom liveries will not transfer to offline saves.

• Some Hobbies and Achievements (Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Ubisoft Connect) that require online-only actions.

Hybrid Mode is a brand-new chapter for The Crew 2, giving you the flexibility to choose how you want to explore, race, and collect vehicles across the vast open world of the United States, online or offline. Whether you're looking to preserve your progression for the future or simply enjoy the freedom of playing without a connection, Hybrid Mode ensures The Crew 2 remains accessible for years to come."

• New Content: 26 Challenges, 6 Feats, and 6 Photo Ops, scattered across the playlist and islands.

• Custom Tachometers: Each race is fully branded with dedicated custom tachometers to reflect each Ferrari’s unique era and design.

• Meet Your Guide:

• To bring even more authenticity to the Ferrari Supercars playlist, players will be joined by a very special voice: Michele Pignatti Morano, Director of the Ferrari Museums.

• Michele has dedicated decades to preserving and sharing Ferrari’s rich heritage. Born in 1966 in South Africa and raised across multiple countries, he brings an international perspective to one of Italy’s most iconic brands. • Split Times – New split time indicators help you track your performance more precisely during races.

• Spectator Mode – Watch races from a new perspective and follow friends or rivals in real time.

New Grand Race Modifiers

• Pro Racing – Now featured in Grand Races, this mode adds realism by locking the cockpit view and removing the mini map.

• Alpha Jet – A brand-new modifier that adds jet-flying segments to Grand Races for a thrilling twist.

18 Weeks of Themed Content & 17 New Vehicles

Season 7 delivers a robust schedule of 18 themed weeks, each packed with fresh content—from vehicle spotlights and tailored challenges to vibrant community themes that keep the experience dynamic and engaging week after week.

The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 2: USST Next

The next chapter of Season 8 is here! The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 2: USST Next will be available for free to all The Crew 2 players on May 10th!

After traveling the United States from East to West during Season 3, the US Speed Tour is back since Season 8, and we can't wait for you to see what comes next!

During Episode 1, the USST made its return in the biggest cities in the United States. Racers prepared to race on twisty urban tracks where the slightest mistake could cost them their top position.

For this Second Episode, the USST and Motorflix worked together to create a brand-new playground - the "Motorflix Arena" - and imagined the future of the Alpha Grand Prix together.

What does this future look like? Read on to find out more!

THE MOTORFLIX ARENA

The Motorflix Arena depicts a futuristic version of AGP: big curves, underwater tunnels and big ups and downs will challenge you to give it your all. It is available in FreeDrive for all players with since the release of Season 8. It is located on Lake Michigan close to Chicago and will host several dedicated events during this new Episode. We can't wait for you to see what we have planned!

NEW EVENTS AND BOOSTERS

Season 8 Episode 2: USST Next comes with several new Alpha Grand Prix events, which will be dropped during the first weeks of the Episode.

And don't even think you can get too comfortable in your racing skills, because the events might shake it all up! That's right, boosters will now be added to those new Alpha Grand Prix events, so be sure to push your cars to the limits.

As you already know, challenging races aren't the only new additions this Season! Each event race also features an Endurance Race mode. These will take place on the same tracks with additional laps and different weather conditions. The Endurance Races will test your fortitude as you conquer these long trials! Maintain your focus and you will succeed.

NEW VEHICLES

New Season means new cars, and this one is no exception! Swinging into Season 8 Episode 2 is a wide selection of new cars, including the brand-new Proto line of vehicles including the Proto Glow Concept Motorsport and the Proto Concept Pulse Performance!

All the above vehicles will be available for purchase in bucks or Crew Credits starting on May 10th.

RETURNING VEHICLES

The return of fan-favorite vehicles continues with Season 8 Episode 2. Old favorites from previous Motorpasses will be returning in May, including the Chevrolet Grand Sport Armored Edition (1963), Shelby gt500 1967 Americar Edition (1967), Volkswagen Kombi High School Edition (1966), and the Creators Tkachenko Ice Hunter (2021).

Keep an eye out for more cars returning as more content is added to The Crew 2. Don't hesitate to take the opportunity to finish your collection!

SEASON 8 EPISODE 2 MOTORPASS

**Known Issues ** **Below you will find a list of some of the current known issues. **

• Dashboards flash on the screen for a short time when being reloaded in-game.

• “PSST Horn” is not correctly translated in Traditional Chinese language and debug text is present instead of the vanity name.

• The wrong text is displayed for Season 8 Episode 2 events, displaying ‘Time Attack’ when races are against AIs.

• The Season 8 Episode 2 events in their Endurance versions have the wrong short transition video with no sound.

This season is all about one thing: speed. All the way back in Season 3 we introduced the US Speed Tour, where intrepid racers travelled from one side of the US to the other in a race that combined blazing speed with hardened nerves. Now, in Season 8, the US Speed Tour makes a return to the biggest cities in the States!

These twisty urban tracks will test one's bravery, where even a small mistake can cost you the race. Are you prepared? Then read on!

NEW EVENTS AND CHALLENGES

The Motorflix team has been hard at work creating high speed races throughout several major cities across the US! From New York to Los Angeles, new events will drop every week over the course of the Episode, each in a new city. Use your skills and daring to reach the top in all 8 events! These races won't be easy. These urban settings are full of tight turns at 90°, requiring perfect balance of cornering and acceleration to stay in the game.

These challenging races aren't the only new additions this Season! Each event race this season will also feature an Endurance Race mode. These will test your fortitude as you conquer these long trials! Maintain your focus and you will succeed.

NEW VEHICLES

A new Season is a great reason to grab some shiny new wheels, and this one is no exception! Swinging into Season 8 Episode 1 is a wide selection of new cars, including the Saleen S1 GT4 (2020), the Spyker C8 LaViolette GT2-R (2008), and the KTM X-Bow GT2 (2020).

All of the above vehicles will be available for purchase in bucks or Crew Credits starting on March 15th.

RETURNING VEHICLES

The return of new vehicles continues with Season 8. Old favorites from previous Motorpasses will be returning in April, including the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar (2020), Jaguar F-Type SVR Coupe (2017), Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Coupé (1961), and KTM 450 EXC - Nighthawk Edition (2015).

Keep an eye out for more cars returning as more content is added to The Crew 2. Don't hesitate to take the opportunity to finish your collection!

SEASON 8 EPISODE 1 MOTORPASS

Whatever the case, you have accrued a wealth of experience tackling Into the Storm and dealing with its blustering winds and blinding dust, well preparing you for your hardest challenge yet. You must be ready, for the blizzard is ready for you.

Like last season, a selection of vehicles from Season 1 will now be made available in the store for bucks or Crew Credits! The cars making a comeback over the course of this Episode will feature the BMW M8 Competition Coupe (Street Race), Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS (Rallycross), Ram 1500 Rebel TRX Concept (Rally Raid), and the Mitsubishi 3000 - GT VR4 (Street Race)!

This season will be one of the most epic yet! Motorflix has gone all out in making a thrilling adventure in a brand-new series filled with harsh elements and extraordinary events. Do whatever it takes to finish first!

Along with 2 new Episodes, there will be various improvements added both at the start of Season 7 and throughout the Season. For more details on what is to come, check out our dedicated Quality of Life improvements article!

MOTORFLIX

Prepare yourself to face the oncoming storm. In this brand-new series, you will partake in a set of underground races across the US against your opponents. However, they will not be the only aspect to contend with; you will also be racing against an oncoming sandstorm while avoiding dangerous obstacles and terrain. High winds, debris, and collapsing structures are just a few things you will need to watch out for while racing at high speeds.

There will be 5 events in total that will be available on November 16th. While all races will be available, they must be completed in a specific order to advance to the next stage and obtain the exclusive reward at the end. Keep your wits about you and prepare to do whatever is necessary to win!

NEW VEHICLES AND VANITY ITEMS

To ride out the storm you will need some new wheels. Naturally, we’ve got you covered!

To start, these new vehicles will also be making their debut in the in-game store: the Pontiac Firebird T/A 1977 (Street Race), and the Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R (Street Race).

All of the above vehicles will be available for purchase in bucks or Crew Credits starting on November 16th. A new form of vanity will also be added this Episode: Contrasting rims. These vanity items will feature 2 different sets of wheel rims, allowing for bold new looks!

Finally, 2 new Starter Packs are being added to the The Crew 2: the Mazda RX-8 Pearl Edition and the Porsche Cayman GT4 Carbon Edition. These packs will be available in Ubisoft Connect as well as the Xbox and Playstation stores, and include an in-house customized version of these previously released vehicles along with an additional 45 000 Crew Credits. Whether you’re just starting your racing adventure in The Crew 2 or are looking for a boost to your collection and credits, these budget friendly packs are the perfect choice.

RETURNING VEHICLES

New Episodes often mean new vehicles, however that is not all that will be added to the vehicle roster this time around.

A selection of vehicles from Season 1 will now be made available in the store for bucks or Crew Credits! This will allow newer players and those who may have missed the chance to buy these vehicles to complete their vehicle collection. The cars making a comeback over the course of this Episode include the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Interception Unit (Street Race), Bugatti Chiron Interception Unit (Hypercar), Creators K.S. Masked Leader (Hypercar), and Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray Interception Unit (Street Race).

As new content is added to The Crew 2, we will continue to bring back vehicles from previous Seasons in chronological order. Make sure to check your collection to see what you may have missed!

SEASON 7 EPISODE 1 MOTORPASS

The Motorpass returns this Season, but this time with a twist! Beginning this Season, the Motorpass will now be available for either 80k Crew Credits or 3 million bucks. Don’t miss out on the chance to collect over 40 new vanities, as well as 4 new cars!

NEW LIVE SUMMITS

The regular weekly LIVE Summits will be continuing through Season 7 with a slew of rewards. For those with a more competitive edge, be sure to keep an eye out for the 4 Premium LIVE Summits! These Premium LIVE Summits will feature 2 new and 2 returning Platinum reward vehicles, giving players a second chance at earning these cars. Rev up those engines and compete to earn these cars, beginning on November 30th with a new entry to the Demolition Derby category, the Fender Charcoal!

From September 14th onwards, there will be new tracks to improve your skills. The harshest elements will challenge your driving abilities while racing against the champions in each category.
