Rainbow Six Siege kicks off Year 10 Season 3 with a high-impact update that brings fresh content, strategic gameplay changes, and a new operator that’s set to shake up the meta.

Meet Denari: the new defender

Denari is a 3-speed defense operator specializing in area denial. His gadget, the T.R.I.P. Connector, creates laser networks that damage and electrify enemies who cross them. With a unique secondary weapon, the Glaive-12 slug shotgun, Denari can open precise lines of sight and clear obstacles from a distance. His loadout includes the Scorpion EVO3, FMG9, and utility gadgets like the Deployable Shield and Observation Blocker.

Explore Three Modernized Maps

In Season 3, Lair, Nighthaven Labs, and Consulate return to the Siege X map pool in their modernized versions, bringing the total to eight upgraded maps. These maps feature enhanced lighting, textures, and destructible elements like gas pipes, offering new tactical opportunities.

R6 ShieldGuard Gets Smarter

Ubisoft continues its fight against cheating with updates to ShieldGuard, including major improvements to the live-update system. In addition, the next major iteration of MouseTrap, focused on detecting recoil tampering, is set to arrive later this season Together, these changes aim to restore trust and improve the overall player experience.

Defense Scope Balancing

Magnified scopes are being removed from Defense Operators (Doc, Rook, Frost, Echo, Castle, Tachanka, Goyo), excluding DMRs and slug shotguns. This change is intended to limit long-range engagements for Defenders and encourage more balanced positioning during rounds.
