You’ll experience very low gravity when out in space, so take care when travelling around. Fortunately platforms around Space have small gravity generators built into them to stop Wobbly’s floating away, so stick near these and you’ll be just fine! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀  **A new open world** ##### Jobs So you’ve seen something in Space you want to buy. Well then, you’ll be needing some Space Credits! Lucky for you there are loads of new jobs that can earn you credits. Think you’re a crack shot, then join the Asteroid Defence Unit and help protect the Space Station. Or maybe you’re great with a pick axe? Well, head down to the Asteroid Mine! If you’re feeling brave the Space Rescue Job has you rescuing stranded spaceships in outer space. But beware as the layout of these spaceships is different every time, so be careful not to get lost! Grass has had some rendering improvements so that it no longer uses a 2D billboard. Snow now leaves small splodges on the ground. Also minimap icons that are near you will now fade when you are too far above or below their location. Live the high life in one of the 3 new apartments in the city. Or if you fancy a more adventurous home you could buy one of the new jungle huts. ##### Key Rebinding (Keyboard/Mouse only) After lots of requests players can now rebind their keyboard keys. The controls menu has been updated to support this. ##### Rumble Support We’ve added rumble support for controllers on all platforms. Things like explosions, car crashes, vehicle skids now will vibrate your gamepad! In future updates we may implement rumble into more of the game too. Additionally after a request from a Wobbly Life player, we’ve added rumble to the metal detectors to help people who have hearing impairments do the Treasure Job. Each beep is now matched with a vibration which should make it easier to find all that lost treasure! Each of these modes also has customizable settings for you to play around with! ##### Trash Zone Trash Zone is an asymmetric party game where one player (the Trasher) will attempt to knock the other players (the Trash) into a trash compactor to knock them out. They will do this by throwing objects down into the ‘Trash Zone’, launching them at the other players. The Trash players have to dodge these objects until the timer runs out. If the Trasher knocks all the players out, then they win. But if any of the Trash players survive until the end of the timer, then they win. Any players who get pushed into the trash compactor spawn back in and can help the Trasher take out the remaining players. We hope this gamemode will be a new experience for Wobbly Life players and a load of fun to play with friends. When the game starts the Hiders have a short time to go find somewhere to hide. The Seeker stays behind a locked door while they go and hide. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ _Left - A Seeker in the locked room. Right - A Hider hiding in a box_ Once the hiding timer reaches zero the door unlocks and the Seeker is released to go find the Hiders. To catch a Hider the Seeker needs to grab them, and if the Seeker catches all the Hiders before the timer runs out then the Seeker wins. But if any Hiders manage to evade the Seeker until the timer runs out then they win. When a Hider is caught, they spectate until the end of the game. The new building jobs work in 3 stages in a similar way to the farming job. Once you finish one job the same NPC will offer to start the next stage. ##### Recycling Job Become a heavy machinery expert and use the Recycling Machines to turn bits of rubble into new building materials. ##### Construction Job Take on the role of a builder and lay the bricks yourself. Place bags of materials on the walls and use a hammer to build them before the time runs out! ##### Demolition Job As a Wobbly builder you don’t get everything right the first time. So sometimes buildings need to be demolished. Make use of a variety of new tools and vehicles to knock those walls back down again. ##### Save Game Backup System For the PC version of Wobbly Life we have added a backup system, which puts the last 20 saves into a directory in case you delete/corrupt the save file. The backups are located here (replace USERNAME with your computer user name) - >> **C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\RubberBandGames\Wobbly Life\Save** You should find a folder with a bunch of numbers and _backup, the bunch of numbers is your steam id. Once you find the folder and want to restore your game, all you need to do is make sure the game is closed, extract the backup you want to restore from its zip file, then copy all the contents inside the backup and put them inside your save folder which will be located here - >> **C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\RubberBandGames\Wobbly Life\Save** (It will be the folder with a bunch of numbers - not the one with _backup) We hope this helps people who lose their save files. We have made a bunch of adjustments in this update to try to ensure that this doesn’t happen, but without knowing exactly what causes the save issues we have introduced this system as well. They deal exclusively in fancy vehicles, so make sure you bring your wallet with you! ##### Physics Precision Mode We have added a new option called Physics Precision, this setting controls how much time is spent calculating Physics on the CPU. We’ve been experimenting between two tick rates but both have their merits and downsides. So we have put out this setting to allow you guys to pick which mode you prefer for your computer spec. The default is High. Welcome to v0.6.5 The Treasure Hunt Update! Dig up some treasure or help uncover Wobbly Islands lost history by filling in exhibitions at the Museum, there’s lots to find buried around the Island! ##### Treasure Hunting If you look carefully around the island you will find 3 different locations with treasure hunting fanatics who can sell you a treasure map. There are 3 different difficulties of treasure hunts; Easy, Medium and Hard. The harder the hunt the better chance of rewards. Once you buy a map you will notice a red circle on the main map, (Press M to open the map or Up on the D-Pad on controller) Take a metal detector and explore the area within the red circle. While holding a metal detector it will beep when you are close to buried treasure and speed up the closer you are. When you find where it’s buried press 2 (Left on D-Pad on controller) to dig it up. You might find some treasure. Take any coins, ingots and goblets back to the treasure shops to cash them in. There is also a chance you could dig up an artifact! ##### The Museum and Artifacts A new addition to Wobbly Island is the Museum! You can find it on the edge of the city next to the power plant. The Museum has lots of relics from wobbly history, have a look around and learn about the rich past of Wobbly Island. However some collections are missing, you can help fill in the Museums missing collections by bringing any artifacts you may find on your treasure hunting travels. You can identify an artifact by its distinctive yellow glow. Bring enough artifacts to the Museum and you might get a reward. We have revamped a lot of the core systems in Wobbly Life to give a better quality of life as well as adding a huge amount of new content! ##### Mountain Doors Are Open Something strange is happening in the mountain. ##### Save System First of all there is a big change to the save system. You are now able to have multiple world saves and character saves. The world save contains all the progress within your world such as missions and certain statistics, this can be anything from Buying your first house and making Granny proud to doing the tutorial or completing the Intro cutscene, this is all shared across each character. Each World save also contains 4 character saves within it, this means if you play splitscreen a lot you don’t have to always have a second controller plugged in if you only wanted to play the second character! The character save slot keeps track of your individual data such as money, clothes, vehicles and houses. Don't worry your old save will be converted to the new system and there will be a backup created in **Path: %AppData%\\LocalLow\\RubberBandGames\\Wobbly Life\\Save\\STEAMID\\GameSaves\\Backup_Old** ##### Wardrobe/Clothes Shop We have also made some big changes to the way wardrobes and clothes shops work! Clothes shops now each have their own unique clothes catalogue with some items only showing in certain shops. In addition to this we have revamped the UI of both the Shops and Wardrobe to a much more user friendly design. Icons represent all the clothes available allowing players to easily navigate to what they want. ##### New Jobs The island is more lively than ever with lots of new jobs! Help keep the forest tidy as a lumberjack, crack the code as a scientist or help prevent disaster as a firefighter, you may even find yourself flying a jet.
