We’re excited to share the details of the latest World of Guns update! ##### 1. Improved X-Ray and Click’n’Hide Shaders We have improved the shaders used in the X-Ray and Click’n’Hide modes. Models now have more depth and look better in both modes. We have also reduced the unpleasant overexposure that could occur in Click’n’Hide when a large number of parts were hidden — especially in models with many components, such as machine guns. ##### 2. Improved HD Interface We have improved the interface for monitors with resolutions higher than Full HD (1920×1080). After the update, ×2 UI scaling will be enabled automatically on these displays, and all interface elements will be shown at a higher resolution. If the new scaling does not suit your preferences, you can adjust the UI scale at any time in the settings. We recommend changing this setting outside the game modes. ##### 3. Promo Code Button A new Promo Code button has been added to the main screen. Finding the **~** key required to open the console is not always easy, and on some keyboard layouts it can be particularly difficult. We hope the new button will make redeeming promo codes much more convenient. The original method of entering promo codes through the console is still available. ##### 4. PBR Shader Support We have added support for new PBR shaders. All future models, as well as many existing ones, will gradually receive more realistic materials — with the biggest improvements being visible on metal surfaces. Updating every model will take time, but we will continue converting them and announce the updated models in future news posts. This also gives us a good opportunity to improve our older models, some of which require a complete overhaul. ##### 5. T-72 Achievements For our most dedicated players, the **Hardcore** and **Super Game** achievements are now available for the T-72. ##### 6. Voting System Improvements We fixed an issue where votes could be assigned to the wrong model when voting repeatedly. At the request of our players, we have also added the option to cast up to 1,000 votes at once. ##### 7. Recently Played Models A new button has been added that allows you to quickly view your recently played models. ##### 8. Model Renders High-quality renders have been restored for all models that previously had them. ##### 9. World of Shooting Banner We have added a banner for World of Shooting — our game where you can test your shooting skills and compete with other players. The game features more than 100 weapon models, over 200 accessories, and two campaigns: **Practical Shooting** and **Killhouse**. ##### 10. Favorites List Fixes We were unable to reproduce the reported issue with the Favorites list. However, we identified and fixed several potential causes and hope that the problem will no longer occur. ##### 11. New Background The previous purple gradient background has been replaced with a new one. Thank you for playing World of Guns and for continuing to send us your feedback! ### New Model Released: USFA ZiP .22 - Date: 2026-09-01 - Original notes: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/262410/view/679633956871603320 - Permalink: https://whatsnew.fyi/product/world-of-guns-gun-disassembly/releases/2026-09-01-new-model-released-usfa-zip-.22 - **added** — USFA ZiP .22 model with full disassembly and assembly of 48 parts - **added** — Firing operation mode for USFA ZiP .22 - **added** — Reloading operation mode for USFA ZiP .22 - **added** — Alternative reloading operation mode for USFA ZiP .22 - **added** — Dry firing operation mode for USFA ZiP .22 - **added** — Re-strike capability for USFA ZiP .22 - **added** — Picatinny rail for USFA ZiP .22 - **added** — Collimator sight for USFA ZiP .22 Good news—the USFA ZiP .22 has been released and is now available in World of Guns! The Bechowiec was designed in occupied Poland in 1943 by Henryk Strąpoć and produced in underground workshops for the Bataliony Chłopskie resistance organization. Fewer than 20 examples are believed to have been produced, and only two original Bechowiec submachine guns are known to survive today. Now you can explore this remarkable piece of Polish resistance history in World of Guns: — examine its internal mechanism; — disassemble and assemble the weapon; — study how its components interact; — operate the model and observe its firing cycle. The TKB-506 was created at the request of the KGB for special operations. It is a pistol disguised as a cigarette case, holding only 3 shots. Reloading was designed to be performed strictly in non-combat situations. Another fascinating feature of this weapon is its SP-2 ammunition. It operates on the same principles as the SP-4 cartridge used in the PSS "Vul" (which you can also check out in the game). After a shot is fired, all powder gases are sealed inside the cartridge case under high pressure. This piston-cut-off system is exactly why this weapon is so incredibly quiet. **In Operation Mode you will find:** - Firing, Reloading, and Safety actions. **In Disassembly/Assembly Mode:** - You will be able to completely disassemble all 28 parts. --- **PROMO CODE** Unlock the TKB-506 for free — available to the first 50 users: **P98H** **Instructions:** - Run the game and go to the main menu. - Open the console by pressing the tilde key (**~**). - Type **promo P98H** (make sure "promo" is in lowercase, and the code is in CAPS LOCK). - Press Enter. **Please note:** - On some keyboard layouts, the console key may vary. - The promo code must be entered strictly in the main menu. --- Additional content is available on our [Patreon!](https://www.patreon.com/c/WorldOfGuns) ### New Model in World of Guns: Polish Błyskawica Submachine Gun! - Date: 2026-04-25 - Original notes: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/262410/view/505108056144610077 - Permalink: https://whatsnew.fyi/product/world-of-guns-gun-disassembly/releases/2026-04-25-new-model-in-world-of-guns-polish-b-yskawica-subm - **added** — Added Polish Błyskawica submachine gun model with 68 parts in Disassembly/Assembly mode - **added** — Added Operation mode for Błyskawica including full-auto fire from open bolt, reloading, safety engagement, and stock unfolding We are glad to announce that a new model has been released in World of Guns — the Polish Błyskawica submachine gun! What is interesting about this model? Only about 700 units were made by the Polish resistance movement during World War II while fighting against German occupation. The designers were inspired by the German MP 40 and the British Sten, but the Błyskawica also has several unique design solutions. One of them is its unusual safety system: when the shooter takes his finger off the trigger, the safety is automatically engaged. In Disassembly / Assembly mode, you can explore 68 parts. In Operation mode, you can try: Full-auto fire from an open bolt, Reloading, Safety, Unfolding stock (unfolding the stock reduces recoil) PROMO CODE Unlock the Błyskawica for free — available to the first 50 users: 9NMJ Instructions: Run the game, go to the main menu, open the console by pressing ~, type promo in CAPS LOCK, then press Enter.
