Here are the release notes for Update 73.3, released on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025.

Of Special Note:
The final quest in the Tavern Tales quest bundle has arrived!

Things are getting tense in the Stormreach Fish Market as local Sahuagin struggle with the Kobold Union for control. Bring order to the chaos in an adventure with multiple possible endings!

Speak with Aramond d'Lyrandar in the Lower Harbor near where you arrive from Korthos Island to get started. "Sleeping with the Fishes" is level 3 on Heroic difficulty and level 35 on Legendary difficulty. Tavern Tales is FREE to VIPs and available in the DDO Store. Each of the three quests in the Quest Bundle is available to purchase separately in the DDO Store, and you can get a discount by purchasing the full Quest Bundle.

News and Notes:

  • The VIP Bag of Many Things has been updated. Players who have not yet opened their VIP Bag(s) of Many Things will now receive the following, and all new VIP Bag of Many Things items will contain the following:

  • NEW: 3 Jeweler's Tool Kits

  • NEW: 3 Sentient Unslotters

  • NEW: 5 Greater Slayer Count Boost Elixirs

  • Raid Bypass Timer

  • Ethereal Rest Shrine Statuette

  • Corrected a display and clarity issue with the "Rededicate the Shrine" objective; the interactable objective should now be more clear and provide improved feedback when you click.

  • There is now a teleportation option at the barrier to the end fight for groups and returning players in the quest.

  • Fixed issues that caused "The Mark of Death" to be closed. This raid is once again available. This fix should also correct other cases where bosses could lose aggro inappropriately under certain teleportation conditions.

  • Corrected an issue with Map focus and behavior during resizing.

  • The VIP Loyalty Reward Program UI now has a minimum size to prevent display issues.
