Shooting stars may be ephemeral, but starred conversations in Slack are forever — at least that was the buggy behavior folks experienced when they found they could not un-star channels and DMs on mobile. We thank our lucky stars (not to mention our mobile engineers) for this bug fix. The "[Name] is typing..." indicator was not appearing within threads. Please take this message as indication that the bug has been fixed.
