The filter option within the DMs tab was doing... nothing. It was ornamental, vestigial, and most definitely broken. We've filtered the offending code right out, and DMs are now A-OK. Did you know you can send emails to a Slack channel? Pretty neat, huh? Did you also know that forwarding that message to a different channel within Slack would change your avatar to that of a bot and/or app? Notably less neat, we contend. Slack: Now with fewer identity crises. Launching the app by tapping on a notification banner would sometimes cause channel headers and the "Back" button to be conspicuously absent. There are few things in life from which there is truly no return; go forth in Slack and know that you can always retrace your steps. When two users had the same display name, we weren't showing their full names alongside in autocomplete menus. This gave the act of tagging someone in a message the same thrilling anxiety as greeting a person whose name you're only 50% sure you remember.
