The Lord of the Rings Online — Update 49.4 Release Notes

Here are the Release Notes for Update 49.4: In Good Company, Patch 4 released on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

News and Notes:

• The release of Update 49.3 accidentally released some titles in an upcoming Patron's Coffer to players who have purchased the Patron's Coffer of the Noldor. We are changing these titles to something new.

• Owners of the Patron's Coffer of the Noldor erroneously received the following titles:

• , Promised Ally

• , Trusty Companion

• , Promise Fulfilled

• These titles have been changed to:

• Lucky (Prefix)

• , Bringer of Luck

• Promising (Prefix)

• These titles will also be added to our "Community Loot List" this fall.

• Rune-keeper's Scribe a New Ending now cleanses immediately when used, and then pulses 2 additional times.

• PvMP

• The Warg tutorial quest "Killing In the Name Of..." will now correctly advance when using Bestial Claws.

• The Guardsman's Fierce Torc of the Moors now correctly requires you to be in the Ettenmoors to be worn.

• Resilience of the Aurochs potency has been reduced to +40% Healing and +10% Incoming Healing

• Sorceress's Umbral Spout now correctly pulls enemies (at reduced frequency) when Dread Summons is not active.

• Reaver's Jagged Cut now correctly deals damage in an arc directly in front of the character, not erroneously offset to the right.

• Sorceress's Ignite effects should now stack between multiple sorceresses. Ignite effects should also tier up as intended, with the same behavior as other elemental synergy effects.

• In the German client, Fellowship (group) chat can once again be selected with /g
