Prime Time has begun in The Outlast Trials! Murkoff’s newest therapy pushes Reagents into a relentless psychological assault where propaganda, fanaticism, and chaos collide. Face the new Prime Roulette variator featuring multiple Prime Assets in a single Trial, destroy Murkoff’s defective televisions for bonus rewards, survive two new MK-Challenges, and unlock the exclusive Limited-Time Catalog.

New Limited-Time Event: PRIME TIME

Prime Time Therapy prepares Reagents for a future dominated by contradictory cults of personality and clashing fundamentalist ideals. Participants can expect their psyche to face brutal and fundamental assault from both ends.

Variators:

  • PRIME ROULETTE - Multiple Prime Assets present in the Trial at the same time. Once a Prime Asset retires, a different one will come in - sustaining relentless pressure and escalating unpredictability throughout the session!

  • BREAK THE TELEVISION - Stop Murkoff’s propaganda and break all defective televisions for additional rewards.

  • EXTRA PRIME ASSET TRAPS - Extra Prime Asset traps in the Trial.

New Limited-Time Catalog: PRIME TIME

  • A brand new Catalog is available for the duration of the Prime Time Limited-Time Event.

  • Players can spend their acquired Event Tokens in the Catalog to unlock exclusive rewards.

  • Once the Prime Time Event concludes on June 16 at 10am ET, the Catalog will be removed and any unused Event Tokens will be forfeited. Be sure to spend your Prime Time Tokens before the end of the event.

New MK-Challenge: WIN THE TRUTH

You are the blind observer, who consumes screen-fed ignorance and swells with the genius of idiot artifice. Regurgitate the knowledge that brings suffering to the wise, win the game which only punishes the defeated, and we will let you out.

New MK-Challenge: INCINERATE THE RELIC

You are the heretic and you are the zealot. Relics are the proof of an impossible gospel, the belief that makes whole the deservedly slaughtered lamb. Pay your way into heaven, incinerate the relic, and we will let you out.

New Routine Therapies

These new routine therapies will come after the Prime Time Event ends.

  • **CLASSIFIED **- Multiple secret variators have been added to your therapy. Adapt or die.

  • Taking place June 16th to June 30th

  • MIRROR - The trial perspective is altered to mislead the reagents.

  • Taking place_ June 30th to July 14th_

Additions/Fixes/Balancing

  • The previously removed “Rare” cosmetic tier has been reintroduced under a new designation: Enhanced.

  • Variator “Classified”: Tutorials for randomly selected variators are no longer displayed at the start of a Trial.

  • Escape the Lies: Fixed an issue where the “Mandatory Secondary Objective” variator did not function as intended during this Trial.

  • Escape the Lies has been removed from Escalation since there is no Shuttle sequence to choose your loadout.

  • Fixed an issue where bandages could be reused when cancelling its animation.

Invasion

  • Ex-Pops no longer react to imposters, unless directly obstructed.

  • Imposters are now invulnerable to other projectiles for a longer period of time after being hit by a projectile. Additional hits during this window trigger reduced reactions.

  • Imposter scoring penalty caused by projectiles is not affected while in the invulnerability period anymore.

  • Imposter deployment is no longer tied to the number of Reagents alive in the Trial. It’s still affected by the total amount of Reagents in the game (1-2 reagents = 1 imposter, 3-4 reagents = 2 imposters).

  • Fixed an issue where a Reagent could still be executed if the Impostor was interrupted by another Reagent bashing through a door.
