VULCAN: NEW ROBOT BUILD

The first robot capable of upgrading itself mid-battle across multiple stages. By dealing damage, Vulcan's core heats up and overclocks, unlocking additional benefits for the robot and upgrading its primary ability. The longer it stays in the fight, the stronger it becomes, making it crucial to give Vulcan time to scale up after deployment if you want to push this machine to its absolute limit.

VULCAN

This isn't even its final form.

**Unbound Protocol: **When activated, the robot generates a **Forcefield **and activates a built-in laser cannon, which automatically engages the target in its sights. By inflicting damage, the Vulcan heats up its reactor, progressing through several stages of upgrades:

Stage 1 (Basic): Upon activation, the Vulcan gains a Forcefield and activates a built-in laser cannon.

Stage 2 (First Threshold): The robot permanently activates two additional light weapons. The ability's effectiveness increases: Forcefield durability and the built-in laser cannon's damage are increased.

Stage 3 (Second Threshold): The reactor enters critical overheating mode. The Forcefield generator and built-in laser now operate constantly, and their effectiveness increases again. Due to the enormous load on the system, active use of the ability is blocked.

  • First threshold: 250,000 damage

  • First threshold bonus: 10%

  • Second threshold: 550,000 damage

  • Second threshold bonus: 20%

  • Force Field damage blocked: 88% to 45%

  • Force Field durability: 542,000

[table equalcells=1] Weapon Slots 3x Medium (+2x Light at Stage 2) Durability 280,000 Movement Speed 55 km/h Bonus for MK2 Movement speed: 55 km/h → 60 km/h; All output damage: 100% → 120% Bonus for MK3 Movement speed: 60 km/h → 65 km/h; All output damage: 120% → 150%

LUMEN L/M/H

Fiat lux!

Mid–range energy weapons that fire laser beams capable of locking onto an enemy robot and maintaining contact as long as the target remains in range. The beam can partially curve around terrain, making cover less effective. The longer the beam stays focused on an enemy, the more Thermal Breach stacks it applies, increasing the damage the target takes from all subsequent attacks.

[table equalcells=1] Special Effect Thermal Breach Damage Type Energy Range 600 m Damage per Particle 650 / 975 / 1300 Particles per Shot 1 Shot Interval 0.1 s Ammo 60 Reload Interval 1 s Reload Amount 6

LAR

Your little guardian spirit.

Ability 1: If the robot has more than 4 weapon slots, the drone calculates the target's weak points and applies the Deathmark effect to it.

Ability 2: This drone increases the output damage of the robot by 10%. The effect is active all the time.

Ability 3: While the robot's Forcefield is active and not broken, it gains immunity to the Slowdown and Lockdown effects.

Ability 4: When an enemy is destroyed, the robot restores some of its durability, including gray. The amount of repair increases for each stage the robot has (minimum 1).

NES DIAZ

Care for a quick kickaround after the battle?

Rhythm Sync: Vulcan threshold clearance requirements have been reduced by 25%. Precision Focus: Lumen series guns deal 15% more damage.

MUROMETZ: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

A legend of old returns to the fray, fine-tuned to perfection. Ultimate Murometz enters the battlefield with enhanced durability, faster takeoff times, and more frequent EMP strikes. Its signature Ultimate Bulava and Kisten missiles now bypass the lock-on, firing instantly to annihilate targets with massive damage and accelerated reload times. To round out the build, Murometz’s pilot provides additional cooldown reductions to Hard Rain and triggers repairs upon deploying the EMP. This combination transforms the Titan into a constantly flying artillery platform that rains down missiles from the safety of stealth while shrugging off incoming damage.

ULTIMATE MUROMETZ

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Trust, you'd wish it was just a plane...

Hard Rain: The Titan takes off and activates its built-in rocket launchers and stealth system. The rocket launchers automatically shoot enemies in range.

EMP Blast: After a short delay, the Titan applies EMP on the targeted enemy as well as other enemy robots within the radius of the ability.

**EMP: **Blocks the enemy from activating abilities and active modules.

  • Duration: 6 sec.

  • Cooldown: 18 sec

  • Built-in weapon range: 500 m

  • Damage per missile: 2000

  • Cooldown: 15 sec.

  • Effect Radius: 125 m.

  • Range: 500m.

SHOGGOTH: NEW ROBOT BUILD

A robot built around the idea of peeking from behind cover. Exploit every building and elevation around you to land shots without fearing return fire, but beware of flanking maneuvers — despite its strong Aegis shield, Shoggoth is not suited for close-range fights. Shoggoth can move with its weapon platform elevated indefinitely, but firing the Tracking Shot causes its head to retract and puts the ability on cooldown.

SHOGGOTH

The puzzling result of EvoLife giving its engineers too much freedom.

Line Of Sight: The platform housing the robot's weapon slots rises, and the speed of the robot is reduced. In this configuration, the robot gains access to its built-in weapon, which damages enemies and inflicts the TRACK effect. After a delay after firing, the robot's weapon slots lower and the ability recharges.

  • Ability cooldown: 15 sec

  • Speed decrease: 50%

  • Death Mark power: 50%

  • Repairs on destroying a Tracked target: 15% Green, 7.5% Gray

  • Weapon platform elevation height: 45 m

  • Aegis capacity: 162,000

  • Aegis regeneration threshold: 32,400

  • Aegis regeneration: 8,100 per sec

  • Time to fully regenerate Aegis: 20 sec

VOONITH (L) / URHAG (M) / SHANTAK (H)

The physics behind this… remain best unexplored.

Experimental long-range systems that deal more damage at greater distances. Their energy projectiles are dispatched in a vertical wave with zero horizontal dispersion. When part of a wave is blocked by an obstacle, the remaining section continues forward without losing damage potential.

[table equalcells=1] Weapon Slot Light/Medium/Heavy Special Effect More damage at long range Damage Type Energy Range 1,100 m Damage per Particle 7,500 / 12,375 / 16,500 Particles per Shot 25 Shot Interval 0.85 s Ammo 12 Reload Interval 3 s Reload Amount 3

FHTAGN

All this biological tinkering must have had an effect on the speech organs of EvoLife citizens.

Ability 1: The host gains additional damage for each destroyed enemy with a Track effect applied. **Ability 2: **Passively boosts the host’s weapon damage. **Ability 3: **The host's regenerating Aegis systems have increased capacity and regeneration speed. **Ability 4: **A portion of the host's damage dealt to Tracked enemies beyond 600m ignores Defense Points.

BAEK TAEJUN

Just a few extra appendages for managing the weapons panel.

Taejun's Awareness: When activating the built-in weapon, Shoggoth temporarily activates the Quantum Radar and deals increased damage. **Taejun's Audacity: **The firing rate of Shantak, Urhag, and Voonith guns is increased.

ACID RHINO: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

The Ultimate Rhino is receiving a significant overhaul with an indestructible shield, defense points and improved maneuverability. While its core unique ability remains, you will now retain your shield cover for a few seconds after charging, with the ability to turn now enabled. Additionally, all incoming damage received during the charge is converted to DoT giving a crucial window to secure the kill.

ULTIMATE RHINO

Ready for a ramming run!

Ultimate Assault Mode: Rhino activates an integrated, impenetrable physical shield and gains uncontrollable acceleration, but cannot use its medium slots. Additionally, the robot converts all incoming damage into a DoT effect. The effect persists during the charge and for a short time afterward.

Corrosion Protection: The robot reduces all incoming DoT damage.

[table equalcells=1] Weapon Slots 2x Light 2x Medium Durability 600,000 Movement Speed 43 km/h Specialization Brawler Bonus for MK2 Ability cooldown: 6 → 5 s; DoT mitigation: 20% → 30% Bonus for MK3 Ability cooldown: 5 → 4 s; DoT mitigation: 30% → 40%

VECTOR: NEW ROBOT BUILD

Pull them in — then slice and dice. Vector makes it difficult for enemies to evade its deadly energy blades. Its ability to magnetize nearby targets pairs perfectly with close-range weapons like the Celsius and Fahrenheit flamethrowers. Vector’s only defensive tool is its ability-bound Reflector shield, which still provides solid survivability — especially when combined with the Tensor drone.

VECTOR

Event Horizon: Vector performs a controlled dash, activating magnetic energy blades that slightly draw in nearby enemies. At the end of the maneuver, the robot slows down, amplifying the power and magnetic properties of its blades to deliver a devastating frontal strike. For the duration of the ability, a Reflector defense is additionally activated on the robot. The ability has charges that replenish over time.

Ability charges: 2 Ability charge cooldown: 10 sec. Magnetic field radius: 100 m. Pulling vortex radius: 250 m.

**Reflector: **A defense system that absorbs a portion of incoming damage and redirects it back to the attacker. Reflector does not protect the robot completely, but cannot be mitigated.

Blocked damage: 50% Returned damage: 50%

CELSIUS (L) / FAHRENHEIT (M) / KELVIN (H)

No matter the unit, it’s still just as hot.

Close-range, multi-barreled flamethrower systems by SpaceTech. The barrel cluster generates a wide cone of continuous fire, while a micro-correction targeting module compensates for target maneuvers. The fuel supply is unlimited but strictly governed by a thermal regulator: reaching peak temperature triggers an automatic firing lockout until the system fully cools down.

TENSOR

Sounds more complex than Vector.

Ability 1: Tensor is equipped with a light-weight modification of the Celsius flamethrower. Ability 2: Passively boosts the host’s Durability. **Ability 3: **While the host has a Reflector, boosts the host’s maximum Durability. Ability 4: When the host deactivates a Reflector, temporarily protects the host from damage to Maximum Durability (Gray Damage).

NIKA SCHUM

Race you to that beacon!

**Last Gear: **Gives an extra charge to Vector's ability. **Pit Stop: **Allows Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin to accumulate Lockdown on the target.

WAYMAKER: NEW TITAN BUILD

Waymaker’s role is to turn the tide of battle steadily and deliberately, operating from the backline. By marking targets already under ally fire, this titan snowballs its own power and that of its team, leaving little chance to the enemy when left unchecked. Sustained-fire laser guns support a long-range playstyle.

ANAKSOR: NEW ROBOT BUILD

The Anaksor is a raider from the flying mechs family. But its lightweight design and impressive built-in machine guns aren't its only strengths. If attacked during takeoff, Anaksor activates full invisibility and hides from the enemy. And at its peak, its attacks poses a threat even to Titans, especially with Alex Tav at the controls. The Basileus and Machaira guns, in addition to their firepower, also apply the CORROSION, reducing the target's Defence Points and repaired Durability.

ANAKSOR

Master of the skies and stealth

Sirocco Field: Upon activation flies up, activates built-in autocannons, increases speed by 130% and applies several charges of the INVISIBILITY FIELD defensive effect to the robot. When the robot takes damage, one charge is consumed and triggers INVISIBILITY, hiding the robot from enemies for 5 seconds. The protection remains active while the ability is active or until all charges are depleted. Any enemy in 75m or closer reveals invisible Anaksor.

AMMIT: NEW ROBOT BUILD

It may look clumsy and silly, but this beast is the tankiest of all brawlers. Ammit can protect itself and its teammates by projecting an Absorber Shield that converts incoming damage into Defense Points. Its drone, Scales, can also grant immunity to Defense Mitigation. Ammit is no slouch offensively either: the more damage it withstands, the more its Hippo and Kroko weapons charge up to deliver devastating retaliation. And escape is not an option — the longer Ammit keeps an enemy in its sights, the more Slowdown stacks they receive.

AMMIT

Crocodillo... robotino?

**Slowdown Sight (passive):**The robot has a continuously operating built-in weapon. In passive mode, the guns on its hull automatically attack enemies in a cone in front of it, applying the **Slowdown **effect.

**Defensive Absorber (active):**When the ability is activated, the robot deploys a frontal **Absorber **shield. All damage absorbed by the shield is converted into additional defense points. The accumulated defense points are preserved until the end of the match.

HASTATUS: NEW ROBOT BUILD

A mid-range damage dealer that relies on a new type of defense to withstand pressure from stronger opponents. With temporary invulnerability granted by the Quantum Lock effect, Hastatus can stay exposed and maintain line of sight long enough to punch through almost any resistance. Two built-in weapons further reinforce its firepower.

HASTATUS

Principes can chill. We'll manage on our own.

Stasis Barrier (passive): Hastatus carries several charges of the Stasis Barrier defensive effect, each of which restores after a cooldown. Every charge fully absorbs the damage from the hit that triggered it and activates Quantum Lock — a state that temporarily blocks all changes to health except direct repairs. Once Quantum Lock ends, the next charge of Stasis Barrier will trigger upon the next hit.

**Flakstorm (active): **Hastatus activates its built-in rocket launcher and reloads its built-in machine gun. The machine gun also receives a brief damage boost.

**Confractus: **Activating Flakstorm provides Hastatus with a brief Shieldbreaker effect. **Terebrare: **Pilum and Gladius bypass a portion of the target’s Defense Points.

PRINCEPS: NEW TITAN BUILD

A Titan-rank companion to Hastatus, Princeps excels at mid-range — especially when equipped with the recommended Venire and Vincere weapons. These deliver bonus damage against both physical and energy shields, making Princeps remarkably lethal at its optimal distance. Its primary form of defense is the Stasis Barrier, but if close-range enemies get too bold, Princeps can also hurl them away using its secondary ability.

PRINCEPS

Null Field (Primary): Princeps carries several charges of the Stasis Barrier defensive effect, each of which restores after a cooldown. REX: NEW ROBOT BUILD

Rex favors aggressive gameplay and supports two distinct attack styles thanks to its dual Brawler–Saboteur specialization. Commanders can use its speed and built-in weapon to devastate enemy backlines or opt for direct, head-on engagements. Both approaches rely heavily on Rex’s unique ability, which converts incoming damage into Damage Over Time. However, Rex becomes vulnerable while the ability is on cooldown. Survivability and support options — such as the new Stealther mothership — provide strong synergy, mitigating vulnerability during downtime.

REX

The king is on the hunt

**Predator Rush: **The robot accelerates and begins converting all damage taken into a DoT effect. It also activates a built-in acid shotgun, which partially removes DoT effects when fired and increases its damage for each DoT effect removed.

CYCLONE NODENS: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

The new edition of Nodens retains the wide-area support capabilities of the original while introducing a more aggressive combat orientation. Its reinforced hull allows the Titan to maintain line of sight with enemies longer and fully utilize the destructive potential of its Cyclones. This is a truly multifunctional unit that demands skilled command — balancing ally repairs with damage output.

ULTIMATE NODENS

The ultimate incarnation of the ultimate team player

Active Support: The Titan establishes a link with an ally and gradually repairs the ally’s durability. It is possible to repair multiple allies simultaneously with each additional link increasing the power of the Titan’s Defence system. Each activation of the ability repairs a percentage of Nodens' durability. **Disposal: **The Titan applies Suppression on the targeted enemy as well as other enemy robots in range of the ability. The damage output of the affected robots is lowered. The ability also deals damage to affected robots.

OTHER ADDITIONS
STEALTHER

On the wings of the Night

This light and fast Mothership by SpaceTech is ideal for those looking to escape the brutality of the battle and replenish some durability. It will hide you from enemy radar and help you return to battle refreshed.

Cloak Protocol: Upon activation, the mothership applies Stealth to the robot and gradually restores its green durability over several seconds.

SAFE DEPLOYMENT

Please note that this feature will be rolled out gradually across various game modes. To learn when it’s fully functional, stay tuned to our social media.

With this feature, we are introducing spawn protection to War Robots. All robots and Titans deployed on home beacons at any point during a match now receive a substantial amount of Defense Points for several seconds. These Defense Points cannot be mitigated, making a freshly deployed robot practically invincible and giving it a head start if your initial spawn area is under enemy fire control.

When fully rolled out, the feature will work in Domination, Beacon Rush, Team Deathmatch, Push, and Free-for-all. In Free-for-all and Team Deathmatch, all available deployment points will provide spawn protection.

HANGAR UI IMPROVEMENTS

We continue cleaning up the Hangar interface and optimizing its backend. With this round of improvements, we focused on the loading speed of item icons and the item upgrade window in general. Instant upgrades are now processed faster, with a new animation confirming the upgrade. We've also significantly increased the loading speed of item icons, which allows smoother transitions between the main Hangar view and screens like Collections and Storage.

TECHNICAL FIXES
  • Fixed ads not loading when choosing to increase battle rewards through the post-combat window.

  • Fixed certain robots and Extermination bots remaining visibly functional after being destroyed.

  • Fixed the robot selection panel not appearing after Kaji’s destruction in a Beacon Rush match.

  • Released multiple Hangar UI fixes and improvements.

KAJI: NEW ROBOT BUILD

Kaji is a nimble but fragile trickster of a robot that introduces two entirely new mechanics, both packed into a single ability. It can turn completely invisible, hiding from sight and disappearing from enemy targeting systems. However, it remains vulnerable to damage and becomes visible to any enemy within 150 meters, allowing them to target it directly. While invisible, Kaji gains a significant movement speed boost and disables its weapons. Pressing the ability button a second time does something no robot has ever done before: laying mines. These explosives stick to horizontal surfaces, can be stacked up to a limit, and activate when an enemy passes nearby. The mine then launches at the target and explodes, applying DEATHMARK and SLOWDOWN. Kaji isn’t suited to close-quarters combat. It excels at evasive tactics and hit-and-run strikes. The Boom, Bash, and Pow missile launchers are perfect tools for sowing destruction across the battlefield without even looking at the enemy directly. They fire in a straight line, then arc upward and home in on enemies. For maximum effect, wait until a mine triggers — these weapons gain a bonus against targets affected by DEATHMARK. Kevin O’Reilly and Kocho are ideal for a Kaji build. Kevin adds an EMP effect to your mines, making sure those pesky phaseshifters can’t escape your rocket barrage. Kocho boosts movement speed, increases damage when DEATHMARK is applied, and provides protection against affected enemies. Vanish and reappear where least expected. Trap chokepoints, bait enemies into mines, and strike from a safe distance — the tactical possibilities with Kaji are endless. Just don’t get caught too close.

KAJI

Watch your step.

MINING: Kaji gains the INVISIBILITY effect, becoming undetectable to both enemy sensors and visual tracking at distances greater than 150 meters. While invisible, Kaji can deploy mines. Upon activation, the mines apply DEATHMARK and SLOWDOWN, then begin to pursue the target. Upon contact, they deal area damage and reapply DEATHMARK and SLOWDOWN. When Kaji is destroyed, all of its mines destroy themselves.

Max number of mines: 10. ** Mine detection range: **200 m.

DEATHMARK effect strength: 5%.

Effects stack, so unleashing all charges gives +65% movement speed and massive healing, turning the knight into a relentless frontline champion. It comes with significantly enhanced performance, increased durability, speed and a shorter cooldown time for its signature ability. Most notably, the Ultimate Ravana now features an additional charge for its Transcendence ability, allowing pilots to phase shift more often and outplay opponents with masterful timing.

Equipping this powerhouse with the Ultimate Cryo weapon system unlocks even more destructive potential, delivering not only increased damage but also a wider area of effect to freeze multiple enemies at once. Complementing this fearsome setup is the introduction of Thomas Pear, a brand-new pilot. GLADIATOR

TETH: NEW ROBOT BUILD

A dedicated brawler, Teth is protected by physical shields as well as a Forcefield system. Unless attacked by explosives or hit from the sides, the Forcefield won't take damage until an outer shield is destroyed. If a shield is lost, Teth regenerates it after a short delay. This multilayered protection makes the robot exceptionally tough, although it limits its movement speed.

While its mobility is limited, Teth compensates with a unique built-in weapon that fires teleportation beacons. Once a beacon hits an obstacle or reaches its max range, it activates, allowing Teth to instantly warp to its location, unless the Commander cancels the jump. This blend of heavy defenses and surprise positioning makes Teth ideal for wielding ultra-close-range weapons.

The Desert Guardian’s signature tactic is to deploy floating mines around itself, and then teleport right into the midst of the enemy, triggering a chain of devastating explosions upon arrival.

TETH

A solemn guardian of Yan-di treasures

Sandstorm: Teth fires a rocket with a translocator. If the rocket collides with an enemy robot, an obstacle, or reaches its maximum range, the translocator is placed, and the robot begins to teleport to it. If the beacon cannot be placed, the robot will not be teleported. The beacon placement can be canceled by reusing the ability. After teleporting, the robot deals damage and applies EMP to enemies around it.

Teth Forcefield: The robot has a defense that partially blocks the damage taken, the level of protection decreases as the damage is received. The Forcefield recharges after Teth takes no damage for a certain amount of time.

Teth Special Physical Shields: Teth has an updated physical shield system. A new shield is teleported to replace the one destroyed if Teth does not take damage for a certain amount of time.

OTHER ADDITIONS
SEKHEM

Might be time for an SPF-rated paint job

A flying bastion engineered by Yan-Di Corporation as the pinnacle of directed warfare. It unleashes a massive bombardment from the skies, drenching the battlefield in golden fire. The lingering energy slows down enemies, trapping them in the wake of engineered annihilation.

**Sunfire Deluge: **Unleashes a barrage of projectiles around the selected target in expanding concentric circles. Each projectile creates an impact zone on landing, dealing damage over time and applying SLOWDOWN to enemies caught within.

ELIMINATION REPORT

An Elimination Report appears immediately after your robot is destroyed. It displays all key components of the enemy’s build, including their chosen Specialization, Mothership, and Drone. Tap the screen once to dismiss the report. You can reopen it multiple times before deploying your next robot.

TACTICAL SHIFT

Tactical Shift introduces dynamic scenarios to the War Robots maps. In this update, the feature only appears as the Chemical Spill on the Factory map. Chemical Spills will trigger randomly in all game modes on Factory except for Beacon Rush and Push. After a warning, toxic pools begin to overflow, eventually submerging the entire central area of the map. Consider opting for more mobile robots when deploying on Factory during this update!

BALANCE CHANGES

With this round of adjustments, our goal is to significantly increase robot lifetimes in the higher leagues. While the specific rebalance numbers and the list of affected items may change based on testing and your feedback, the core principles of this rebalance will remain the same:

  • Damage output of all Tier 4 weapons will be reduced

  • Excessive damage multiplication in popular builds (e.g. Ravager, Lio) will be trimmed

  • Combat roles and relative power levels of popular builds will remain largely unchanged (e.g. Sword will continue to have the highest damage potential)

We’ve been closely monitoring robot lifetimes for over a year. As of update 11.0, average survival times have dropped below what we consider healthy for the game. For comparison: around update 10.0, it took 10–12 seconds for three average medium weapons to eliminate a defenseless robot. Currently, that same setup results in a kill in just 3–5 seconds.

We believe War Robots should be a slow-paced tactical shooter, where smart decision-making matters more than twitch reflexes. This rebalance aims to restore that vision by giving players more time to react, adapt and fight strategically.

S.W.O.R.D UNIT 190: NEW ROBOT BUILD

While working on update 11.1, we’ve teamed up with a legendary artist, the pioneer of mecha design and a major influence on numerous iconic anime titles — Okawara Kunio himself. Together, we created an entirely new build for the S.W.O.R.D. UNIT 190, featuring a unique mechanic never seen before in War Robots: actual melee combat. S.W.O.R.D. can fly into the air, fire its built-in weapon from one hand, and then dash toward the enemy to strike with a blade in the other — bringing close-quarters action to a new level. The new energy weapons — ARM M-83 and L-80 — also introduce a fresh mechanic called percentage damage. In addition to dealing standard damage, they apply a small percentage of the target’s total Durability, making them especially effective against high-Durability enemies. WARD DSC-6 is an excellent companion for all types of flying robots — especially those that activate Absorber shields when taking off, like S.W.O.R.D. This drone allows your robot to apply Lockdown while protected by the shield, and boosts damage the longer the robot stays airborne. Meanwhile, Miharu Sharpe brings her combat expertise to the battlefield, enabling you to instantly execute low-Durability enemies when the robot performs its melee attack.

After the ability ends, the robot teleports back to the point where it began its flight. Built-in weapon range: 500 m. Durability Percentage Damage: 2% Sword dash range: 500 m.

  • Pilots now have Tiers.

  • Ordinary Pilots are being converted into a collectible Tier 1 pilot. This won’t affect their levels or skills, but their portraits and bios will be replaced with a unified Tier 1 version. Legendary Pilots remain unchanged.

  • The Training Center is now accessible directly from the pilot slot on robots.

  • The updated UI features a card view and allows for dismissing multiple Pilots at once.

  • New Pilots are being introduced for some classic robots.

Each Legendary Pilot is assigned a tier based on the robot or weapon that benefits from their special skill. Since Ordinary Pilots lack special skills, they are all classified as Tier 1. However, to acknowledge their previous status, their converted version will have a unique appearance. This legacy Tier 1 portrait will only be available during the transition to the new system.

These new Pilots will become available in the Training Center later during 11.0:

  • Iji Rime | Endurance: Gareth, Galahad and **Lancelot **have stronger physical shields while their abilities are active.

  • Johan Cooper | Spot-on Expertise: Jesse, Doc and **Butch **have their weapon damage temporarily increased after activating their abilities.

  • Michael Dupont | Against All: **Raijin **and **Rhino **have bonus Defence Points while their abilities are active.

  • Vit Rage | Overdrive: **Carnage **recharges its ability faster.

  • Barbara Steinmann | Vulture's Eye: **Fujin **deals increased weapon damage while its ability is active.

  • Aisha Ortega | Under the Veil: **Ao Qin **gains Stealth temporarily after activating its ability.

  • Daniel Kavanagh | Solid Body: **Weyland **has an Aegis shield while its ability is active.

  • Rita Po | Soft Spot: Fury’s shots ignore energy shields.

  • Egorus Gafidos | True Sight: **Leo **gets a built-in Quantum Radar.

  • Sophie Kovač | Second Wind: **Natasha **gets a huge amount of temporary Defense Points when its Durability falls to a critical level.

WORKSHOP REWORK

The new Workshop allows free production of components and features a cleaner interface.

There are a maximum of three production slots. A production cycle lasts for 24 hours regardless of the component type. You can collect accumulated components at any time without waiting for production to end. After 24 hours, the slot stops generating components, and you can load it with a new production task. Using the Ad button gives you bonus components of the selected type without affecting ongoing production.

These items will become available in the Workshop later during 11.0:

  • Mars

  • Angler

  • Imugi

  • Hwanje

  • Yeoje

  • Daeja

NEW CLAN TASKS

A new type of Task will be introduced during this update. Unlike the previous Clan Tasks, the new weekly challenges track the progress of all clan members, requiring a collective effort to complete. Once the task is finished, the reward is granted to each member of the clan, with all members receiving equal rewards.

Note: You must be a member of a clan for at least 7 days before you can start receiving its Clan Tasks.

ANNIVERSARY ROME

Rome is ready to celebrate!

REMASTERED CARRIER

Sunsets on the Carrier become even more magnificent.

TECHNICAL FIXES
  • Fixed Defense Points provided by Bifrost's Radiant Veil ability being susceptible to Defense Mitigation (e.g., the penetration effect of Titan weapons).

  • Fixed the "Claim All" button being displayed in the Operations menu even when there were no rewards to claim.

  • Fixed the "!" notification being displayed on the Operations button in Hangar and on Operation tabs even when there were no rewards to claim.

  • Fixed minor visual bugs affecting the Operations menu.

  • Fixed an issue that caused robot Specializations to display incorrectly in the Store.

  • Fixed various server-side issues affecting connection to matches and squad creation.

BJORN: NEW TITAN BUILD

Bjorn is a beast of a Titan. EvoLife has crafted a machine that seamlessly blends power and elegance. Bjorn offers two dynamic modes: Sphere Stance maximizes protection, boosts acceleration, and deals continuous damage to nearby foes, while Bear Stance grants access to devastating weaponry and a protective Aegis Shield. With Huginn and Muninn perched on Bjorn’s shoulders, it will brawl through hordes of enemies, chaining damage between them. And with Sigrid Solmer on board, both of Bjorn’s stances will be further enhanced.

BJORN

Grin and bear it

**SHAPESHIFT (Primary): **The Titan switches between two modes. In Sphere Stance, it activates a protective core that reduces all incoming damage and continuously deals damage around itself. In Bear Stance, the Titan can fire from its equipped weapons and gains a temporary Aegis shield.

Ball Damage Reduction: 85% (600 Defence Points)

**FEROCITY (Secondary): ** Sphere Stance: The Titan gains a brief speed boost. Bear Stance: The Titan activates a Defense system that cannot be mitigated but becomes immobile.

Sphere Speed boost: +60% Bear Defence value: 75% Cooldown: 10 sec

HUGINN

GO FOR THE EYES!

The weapon directs a powerful stream of energy at the target. If there are several enemies nearby, the deadly energy will then jump from target to target, with the initial victim suffering the most damage. A lone enemy will receive more damage, absorbing the full force of the blow. The gun also accumulates the Lock-Down on the affected robots to keep them in the area for a longer time.

BIFROST

Valhalla's Finest Flower

Gliding through the endless expanse of the cosmos, the Bifröst unfurls its radiant petals, the vessel bridging the divide between survival and oblivion. Whispers among the stars tell of its origin, crafted by the starlit artisans of EvoLife who sought to recreate the bridge of the gods. This celestial ship is both a lifeline and a symbol of unity in the vastness of space. When allies falter, the Bifröst's energy coalesces into protective barriers, like fragments of that mythical bridge, protecting the commanders and their robots from harm.

Radiant Veil: A veil of shining light infused with latest nanotech creates a protective casing around robot's armor plates, making them stronger and adding 10 stacks of Defence Points multiplied by the amount of Points in one stack. When the stacks reach their peak, the defence system activates for a couple of seconds and then dissolves, applying the CLEANSE effect at the end. None the robot's Defence Points can be mitigated while the mothership's ability is active.

LEECH: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

Want to return the damage to enemies? Leech is the perfect robot for the job! The Ultimate Leech takes damage chaining to the next level—outperforming even the classic version. Pair it with the Ultimate Tulumbas for maximum impact! While the original Tulumbas were considered low-tier weapons, many of you still remember their devastating rocket volleys and AOE damage. We've retained those signature traits while upgrading the Tulumbas to T4 in their Ultimate form. These weapons come with a powerful new feature: the longer you fire and the lower your ammo gets, the more damage you deal!

ULTIMATE LEECH

Redirecting damage since 2019

Repulse: Leech activates a defence system and absorbs most of the damage. If there is an enemy in the robot’s sights, Leech can establish a connection with it and redirect part of the incoming damage to it. This defense cannot be mitigated.

Iron Will: Leech partially restores Durability and grants additional Durability when it drops to a critical level.

OTHER ADDITIONS
ALL HANGAR ACCESS

From now on, you can use all your open Hangar Decks in every battle! The rules stay the same—you can't deploy more than 5 robots and 1 titan in a battle—but now you can place all your favorite robots and choose any of them. It's time to put some extra Snipers in your backup Hangar!

OPERATIONS REWORK

As we mentioned in our 2024 Year in Review, Operations will once again feature both free and premium reward tracks. Plus, each Operation will now have its own dedicated quest tab, making it easier to track your progress and see what you need to do to earn Operations experience.

Resource Operations R and B are being merged into a new Operation called "All You Need", which will include a variety of WR resources, from Modules to Upgrade Tokens.

Meanwhile, Operations E and D will be renamed "Event" and "Datapad", respectively.

For now, all Operations are temporarily disabled while we make technical improvements. Any Operations that were in progress have already been completed yesterday, and rewards have been distributed. Operations will be back next week—stay tuned!

ADVANCED AUDIO SETTINGS

Separate volume controls now can be found in Settings for Game Music, Sound Effects, Interface Sounds, and Master Volume.

HIT INDICATIONS SETTINGS

Damage feedback system now displays real-time information on damage dealt and the type of object hit (e.g., Durability or Shields). Shield types are color-coded: Yellow for Aegis, Purple for Absorber, Grey for Physical, and Red for Durability.

SAMJOK: NEW ROBOT BUILD

Samjok is a strategic robot, designed to outmaneuver opponents and quickly adapt to dynamic combat situations. Equipped with two Heavy and one Light weapon slot, it can deal substantial damage, but its true strength lies in its ability. Sunstorm allows Samjok to split into two parts: the top enters a Phase Shift state, becoming invulnerable and highly mobile but unable to attack, while the bottom part autonomously targets and fires at enemies. The ability is powered by energy, allowing players to shift in and out as needed, but requiring careful management. Once the Sunstorm ends, Samjok summons a new bottom part, ready to fight again.

SAMJOK

Can't touch this!

Sunstorm: When the ability is activated, the robot's cabin separates from the main body, enters PHASESHIFT mode, and accelerates. The mode is active until it is canceled, or until the robot is out of fuel. Meanwhile, an autonomous weapon is activated on the structure which remains behind, with shots that deal significant damage and apply the RUST and CRUMBLE effects to the enemy.

Rust – Each stack of this negative effect decreases robot Durability recovery by 0.66%

**Crumble **– Each stack of this negative effect decreases robot Gray Durability recovery by 0.66%. Autonomous Weapon Lifespan: 15 sec. Destruction Radius: 350 m

HAECHI: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

Haechi’s ascension to Ultimate level made it tougher, faster, and harder to catch. Now equipped with a constant Aegis shield that switches to Absorber while dashing, Haechi thrives in close combat. Shooting the Absorber boosts the bot’s damage by up to 10%, and with upgraded Ultimate Vortexes, Haechi becomes a formidable brawler. But if things get too heated, it can dash away up to 3 times—or 4 with Sergius Hayward on board.

RAVAGER: NEW ROBOT BUILD

The Ravager is a high-damage robot that demands careful handling to offset its lack of defensive systems. Its ability grants permanent Stealth while active, allowing it to navigate the battlefield in relative safety. However, once the ability ends, the Ravager must rely on its substantial Durability to get through the combat. Exiting Stealth provides a temporary boost to its weapon damage, making burst weapons an ideal choice for maximizing its offensive potential. When facing a Ravager, keeping a defensive ability in reserve is always a smart strategy.

RAVAGER

High-FIVE!

**Veil: **The robot accelerates, enters STEALTH mode and removes negative effects like RUST, BLIND, SUPPRESSION and SLOWDOWN, while also gaining temporary immunity to them. Any action, except movement and turret rotation, breaks the invisibility, granting the robot a brief massive damage boost, and sends the ability into cooldown.

**Ability 3: **Upon exiting STEALTH, your robot gains the Lock-down ability for a few seconds.

Ability 4: If your robot is in STEALTH mode, the drone allows you to accumulate a damage increase effect every few seconds.

DEVOURER: NEW TITAN BUILD

The Devourer stands out as a rare example of a Stealth Titan. Its unique hexapod chassis enables it to navigate even the most challenging terrain with ease and speed. Like the Ravager, the Devourer can remain in Stealth indefinitely while its ability is active. Equipped with a powerful arsenal and bolstered by a damage boost from its secondary ability, it excels as a formidable Damage Dealer. Additionally, the Titan’s primary ability allows it to siphon power from enemy targets, further enhancing its combat potential.

DEVOURER

Turn enemy power into a snack!

ESSENCE SHIFT: The Titan becomes immune to Defense Mitigation and establishes a link with the selected enemy robot. While the link is active, the Titan steals Damage, Defense Points, and Movement Speed from the target, transferring them to itself.

SHADOW WALK: The Titan accelerates, enters STEALTH mode, and removes negative effects like RUST, BLIND, SUPPRESSION, and SLOWDOWN, while also gaining a temporary immunity to them. Any action besides movement and turret rotation breaks the Titan’s invisibility and sends the ability into cooldown.

Your lightning-fast attacks now come with an escape plan. The advanced edition of Blitz can teleport back to its original location after activating its BREAK-IN ability. This agile Saboteur-class fighter excels at eliminating priority targets while bypassing heavily armored foes.

ULTIMATE BLITZ

First In First Out

Break-in: The robot sets up a teleport beacon, then speeds up and temporarily activates an Aegis shield. After that, it emits an energy wave that can damage several enemies at once. Using the ability again teleports the robot back to the teleport beacon (Cooldown: 12 sec; Range: 350 m).

OTHER ADDITIONS
DAMAGE ENFORCE SYSTEM

Red means damage.

A support turret. After a short delay, the turret significantly boosts the owner's outgoing damage for a short period.

NEW GAME MODE: PUSH

A new type of battle will become available shortly after the launch of the Cruel Warm Winter event. During Push battles, two teams compete to take control over a payload that has to be taken to the final point. Taking control of the payload makes it move along a set track in the track's direction. The team to escort it to a final point or to progress the farthest towards it during the battle wins.

Here are the main things to know about Push mode:

  • To take control of the payload, your team should outnumber the opponents in its area.

  • When either team gets the payload to the final point, the battle ends.

  • The payload stops at checkpoints. In order to proceed, your team should outnumber the opponents in its area for a few seconds until the checkpoint is cleared.

  • The speed of the payload depends on the number of allies.

UPDATED DAILY TASK TIMERS

In version 10.6, we will update the system that manages the timers for Daily Tasks. Currently, different groups of Daily Tasks refresh at varying times based on several factors. Once the changes are implemented, all Daily Tasks will reset simultaneously at 00:00 UTC.

TECHNICAL FIXES
  • Fixed a bug where a deployed repair station would continue to passively restore Sirius' durability.

  • Fixed a bug where both of Sirius' turrets, when deployed, would return to the Titan faster than intended.

  • Fixed a bug where suggested skills for a Titan pilot would include skills for previously equipped weapons instead of those currently used.

  • Fixed a bug where Harpy with the Twins pilot equipped would not activate Stealth upon landing.

  • Fixed a bug where Shenlou would not receive Aegis when using its Chain Blink ability.

  • Fixed a bug where Ultimate Fujin would not receive a bonus to movement speed when using its Self-Support Mode ability.

  • Fixed a bug where camera would go to an incorrect position on the map when deploying Fenrir or Ultimate Fenrir.

  • Fixed a bug where Ultimate Rayker would not deal bonus damage to targets affected by Suppression.

  • Fixed a bug where the aiming area of Screamer would follow the camera rotation slower than that of Howler.

  • Fixed a bug where Squad or Custom Game invites would not include information about the inviting player.

OVERLORD

DUX: NEW ROBOT BUILD

Dux never goes into battle alone. The robot is accompanied by three hovering attack bots at all times. The bots focus their fire on the same target as Dux and reload together with their host. The Mastermind ability allows Dux to send its bots into overdrive, gaining both offensive and defensive bonuses. While not adequately equipped for close-range brawls, Dux is extremely dangerous in prolonged mid-range fights, where the bots help the robot outlast most of its opponents.

DUX

Maybe we can try to negotiate with the Swarm now.

Mastermind: Companion bots go into overdrive and receive combat boosts depending on their class. Gunner bot: +40% damage, +100% Defense Mitigation for the built-in weapon (the target’s Defense Points won’t reduce damage from the bot’s weapon). Shield bot: applies Aegis and a movement speed bonus to Dux. Support bot: gradually repairs Dux. Mastermind effects only remain active for the duration of the ability.

[table equalcells=1] Weapon Slots 1x Light, 2x Medium Durability 190,000 Movement Speed 50 km/h Bonus for MK2 Support bot restores more Durability (10% → 12%) Shield bot provides a more durable Aegis (180,000 → 250,000) Bonus for MK3 Support bot restores more Durability (12% → 14%) Shield bot provides a more durable Aegis (250,000 → 320,000)

The above stats are for a maxed out item. The figures are valid for this release and may change in future updates.

The above stats are for a maxed out item. The figures are valid for this release and may change in future updates.

WILLA OWE

Bots, obey my command!

Puppet Master: Dux’s companion bots receive passive bonuses depending on their class. Gunner bot: Built-in weapon deals 10% more damage. Shield bot: Upon activation of the Mastermind ability applies Stealth in addition to Aegis. Support bot: restores 12% more Durability to Dux while the Mastermind ability is active.

WEBBY

A very picky drone

Ability 1: The drone has a built-in cannon with the BLAST effect.

Ability 2: The drone increases the robot’s damage output. The effect is always active.

Ability 3: When the robot is moving fast enough, Webby’s built-in weapon applies SLOWDOWN.

Ability 4: When the robot is under the Extra Defense Mitigation effect, Webby’s built-in weapon applies RUST.

MINOS: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

The horned Titan is once again ready to go head to head with any opponent! By skillfully steering Ultimate Minos during the charge, Commanders can apply EMP to the target and shut off its retreat. The fourth track of upgrades makes Ultimate Minos immune to LOCKDOWN, SUPPRESSION and EMP, so that nothing can stand in the way of the charging bull.

ULTIMATE MINOS

Coming through!

Charge: The Titan accelerates and activates a destructive magnetic field around itself. Enemies that get in the way are damaged and knocked back. Each hit of the magnetic field accumulates the EMP effect (Cooldown: 10 sec; Effect radius: 100 m).

Reflector: For the duration of the ability, the Titan gains protection that partially blocks any damage received and redirects it to the opponent dealing it. Reflector doesn't fully protect the Titan, but it can't be mitigated (Cooldown: 13 sec).

Ultimate Anticontrol: Automatically removes Lock-down, Suppression and EMP effects and provides temporary protection against them. Reloads after activation. The maxed-out ability provides permanent protection against Lock-down, Suppression and EMP effects (Base cooldown: 25 sec).

[table equalcells=1] Weapon Slots 3x Beta Durability 643,000 Defence Points 150 Movement Speed 46 km/h

The above stats are for a maxed out item. The figures are valid for this release and may change in future updates.

A very big and powerful shotgun

[table equalcells=1] Weapon Slot Beta Special Effect N/A Damage Type Kinetic Range 500 m Damage per Particle 1,252 Particles per Shot 25 Shot Interval 1 s Ammo 14 Reload Interval 1,8 s Reload Amount 1

The above stats are for a maxed out item. The figures are valid for this release and may change in future updates.

OONA GLOW

A ray of sunshine in the gloomy darkness of the autumn

Oona's Dexterity: The Durability of Minos is increased.

Glowing Speed: After the Reflector ability is activated, Minos gets a significant bonus to Movement Speed.

Additional Defense: After Charge is activated, Minos gains additional Defense Points.

OTHER ADDITIONS
FREDERICK

Full speed ahead!

Attack Wave: After a short delay, the robot receives a powerful damage and Movement Speed bonus. It starts off as 10 stacks of 10% bonuses. 1 stack goes down every X seconds, so the robot’s bonus constantly decreases.

SPECIALIZATIONS

Passive Modules are now replaced with Specializations, which provide deeper options for tailoring robots for a specific combat role. You can upgrade the Specializations of a specific robot in your Hangar to unlock passive bonuses and Module Slots.

Apart from the Basic Specialization which provides access to some primary bonuses and the Active Module, there are three Advanced Specializations: Offense, Defense and Class. Each of them includes bonuses and Modules of a specific type. The smaller bonuses are always active, while the Modules only boost your robot if you activate their respective Specialization. Only one Specialization can be active at a time. Switching between Specializations and the Modules within them is instant and free.

We've explained the feature in detail in a separate article here: https://warrobots.com/posts/388

When the feature goes live, the existing Passive Modules will be deleted and you will receive a message in the game containing the details of your compensation.

BATTLE CRATES

Battle Crates are the new version of the additional battle reward system. As you earn Honor Points in battles, you progress towards Battle Crates, which now refresh on a weekly basis. Three Crates are available to you each week. It takes progressively more Honor Points to unlock each consecutive Crate, but they also offer increasingly better rewards. Once you have collected rewards from all three Crates, you need to wait for them to refresh to start getting Crate progress again.

In addition to the updated UI, there are two major updates to the system:

  • Crate rewards will no longer contain Components. The primary rewards will be various resources.

  • Only the Crates corresponding to your League will be available to you. Higher-league Crates will offer significantly better rewards.

ARCANE CASTLE

Dark clouds are hanging over the Castle. The mountain resort is under the influence of an inexplicable phenomenon supposedly caused by the Warp. Deploy on this map at your own peril!

TECHNICAL FIXES
  • Fixed a bug where robots would become invulnerable when at 0 HP instead of being destroyed.

  • Fixed a bug where the stacks of Cleanse from the Avalon mothership would not prevent the application of Rust from Mauler with Pilot Nina Kessler.

  • Fixed a visual bug where weapons were placed incorrectly on Skyros.

  • Fixed a visual bug where Arachnid Invader's legs would sink in the terrain when the robot was standing still.

  • Fixed a visual bug where the weapons Vendicatore and Anguisher had incorrectly sized icons in Storage.

  • Fixed a visual bug where Pilot tags were displayed incorrectly or missing in Hangar and Offers.

  • Fixed a visual bug where the current Memorium balance wasn’t displayed in My Pilots and the Training Center.

Starlight's Blessing. Bai Xing uses her personal Shenlou core upgrade to add additional Hit Points to the Aegis Shield every time an ability charge is used, gaining even more defense for her robot.

NEW DRONE: QINGTING

EvoLife engineers have always missed Earth insects, so they decided to draw inspiration from the majestic dragonfly when creating their new drone. Despite its lightweight body, this little bug can sting hard, making the enemy literally stand still in admiration!

  • Electric bite. Short-range weapon.
  • Additional damage. This drone increases the output damage of the robot. The effect is active all the time.

FRIEND SYSTEM REWORK

Important: your current friend list will be reset as soon as the new system is deployed. Please save the in-game IDs of players you want to stay in touch with. You will be able to re-add them as friends quickly using the SEARCH FOR COMMANDERS tab in the CLANS interface.

In the new Friends system we are unlinking friendships from Facebook — having a Facebook account is not required anymore. You’ll be able to add any Commander to your Friends list either by knowing their game ID or just by checking their profiles after a battle. Enter the profile, tap the “Friend Request” button, wait for a response and it’s done. Simplicity is what we aim for.

To commemorate this, we added the new FRIENDLY title. You get it by befriending people and playing in Squads.

NEW TITAN: EIFFEL

A high-tech Titan with huge firepower developed by Icarus Corporation engineers. The main ability of the Titan, in addition to flight, allows you to summon additional armor and two Alpha weapons, which makes this Titan a serious opponent in the air.

On top of that, Eiffel can use its dash move for maneuverability both on the ground and in the air. Dash is an interesting mechanic, as it relies on the game physics. That means you can use it more effectively if you practice the timings to maximize your momentum.

Pilot: Jimmy Hermes Carbon Cockpit. After using abilities, the Titan's defense system is increased Racer. Increases Eiffel speed. Long Afterburner. The debut boost lasts longer

NEW ROBOT: CURIE

An example of the further development of teleportation technologies by Icarus engineers. Seeming fragile at first glance, the robot changes greatly when combat mode is activated as two rapid-fire autonomous turrets are teleported nearby. While those turrets stand, Curie also gets some armor plates, making it an extremely capable brawler while you’re fighting it on its turf.

Pilot: Zoe Bilotte Zoe's Touch. Curie's ability recharges faster

NEW DRONE: PASCAL

An amazing companion drone — always there to support you in battle! Bring DOOM to your enemies when it's on your side! It will protect you in critical moments and help out when you’re on the offensive with additional combat power.

  • On Threshold: Repair %. The robot restores a percentage of its Durability and gray damage once upon reaching a threshold of 70%/50%/30% Durability.
  • On Kill/Assist: Bonus Damage. The robot gets a damage bonus on kills and assists. The bonus stacks up to 10 times.
  • On Threshold: Resist. The power of the robot’s defense system is increased once upon reaching a threshold of 70%/50%/30% Durability.
  • Additional damage. This drone increases the output damage of the robot. The effect is active all the time.
NEW WEAPON: SUBDUER

Heavy version of a rapid-firing energy machine gun. Each hit inflicts a RUST effect, decreasing robot Durability recovery from by 10% with 1 stack to by 90% with 30 maximum stacks.

NEW TITAN WEAPONS: DISCORDIA, TUMULTUS

High-speed machine gun. Its projectiles are aimed at the enemy in the targeting reticle after flying 200 meters. When the machine gun is fired continuously, it warms up and its rate of fire increases by 30%.

NEW ULTIMATE EDITIONS: FENRIR, HALO, GLORY

This September, you voted for the next Ultimate Edition in the special Community Survey, and it's in the game now!

Ultimate Fenrir is even tankier than the standard version, with a beefed-up Aegis shield and quicker movement. When you upgrade it to the maximum level, it starts taking less gray damage. You can equip it with Ultimate Glory and Corona to recreate that 2019 iconic build. And if you want to refresh your Fenrir gameplay, both Ultimate and standard, look no further than Liesel and B4R-0N-N3T.

**Liesel's Strategic Mindset.**Fenrir has an enhanced defense system that is immune to defense reduction, but the Aegis shield is not available.

PREMIUM ADDITIONS

Starting from this update, the Premium Subscription provides extra Daily Tasks. The math here is simple: more tasks means more resources.

Additionally, you will get a number of daily “Ad Skips”. Premium users will be able to receive Ad rewards without watching Ads a few times every day. That covers everything you can watch Ads for: speeding-up upgrades, getting extra battle rewards, completing tasks, etc. Using the skip will just give you the reward for watching outright.

All other Premium bonuses, such as extra Silver in battles and faster upgrades, will remain intact. You’ll be getting those along with the new bonuses.

EVENT TITLE

You can get FROSTY with this event! It's an exclusive event title which can only be acquired during this year’s Cruel Warm Winter event. You get to keep the title after the event ends if you fulfill all of its requirements while the event is on!

NEW SPECIAL EDITIONS: FROZEN DAGON, FROZEN TAMER

And don't miss out the seasonal special editions of the six weapon slot Dagon and light weapon Tamer! Both FROZEN for the event.

BUGFIXES AND VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS
  • Addressed the problem where DOT damage in PVE was not accurately reflected in the overall damage statistics

  • Fixed Aegis Self-system description

  • Fixed Glory description

  • Fixed the Aegis bug that occurred when Spike weapons and Bernadette's Stamina skill were used simultaneously on Giftbringer Fenrir/Cryptic Fenrir

NEW FEATURE: KILL ASSISTS

A quality of life addition that will appear in your battles. If you deal a lot of damage to a robot (at least 40% of its Durability), but don’t finish it off, you will get an "ASSIST" notification if the robot is destroyed within 10 seconds after that by your teammate. You also get a sweet Honor Points, resulting in more Silver after the battle. The number of Honor Points depends on your League, but it is near half of what you would get if you destroyed the enemy by yourself.

CROSS-PLATFORM SQUADS AND PRIVATE MATCHES

One of the most awaited cross-platform improvements.

After this update, you can finally meet people from other platforms in Battles, but you will also be able to fight side by side with them in one squad!

So remember all of your friends' IDs. You can all play together now, no matter what platform you use!

NEW ROBOT: DAGON

Dagon is the first robot in history with more than four weapon slots. Six light weapons combine for great combat power and allow you to quickly apply negative status effects to your opponents.

Speaking of tactics, Dagon's ability is pretty simple. The robot has a personal Aegis shield, and when you press the ability button, the shield starts to regenerate at a faster rate. Dagon also gains additional speed while the ability lasts.

NEW WEAPONS: TAMER, DAMPER, TRICKSTER, DECEIVER

Tamer and Damper are two rapid-firing energy gun variants which applies Rust effects, preventing the enemy from effectively restoring Durability. Trickster and Deceiver quickly annihilate enemies with a powerful DoT effect. All these weapons fire in unison which makes it easier to combine them into effective builds.

NEW DRONE: SEEKER

A really perceptive drone that can improve your robot in several ways. It provides a passive bonus to shield Durability, improves weapons with 200m passive Quantum Radar and provides Counterblind and Countersuppresion capabilities. These two effects activate when enemy robots attack you. All nearby attackers within 200m will be affected by Suppression and all the snipers from 600m and more will be blinded.

NEW MOTHERSHIP: MUTE

The ship was created by Icarus Technologies to disable the main systems of enemy robots and Titans. Its camouflage paintjob and numerous jammers help it to stalk outer space unnoticed until it strikes.

**Shutdown: **Applies Blind and EMP to enemy robots in range upon activation.

NEW TURRET: LOCK DOWN BLAST CANNON

Attack Turret. After a slight delay, the turret deals devastating area damage and applies Lock-down to enemies in the target area.

NEW ULTIMATE EDITIONS: FUJIN, AVENGER, PUNISHER T

Fujin is one of the machines instantly associated with War Robots, so we wanted to make its Ultimate version as memorable as possible.

Fujin now has 1 Heavy slot, 2 Medium slots and an Aegis shield. Ultimate Fujin moves faster and recovers some Durability while its ability is active. It can even restore a portion of grey damage. If you reach the maximum Durability the unspent repairs will be converted into shield power.

Avenger and Punisher will also receive an Ultimate version that will cause extra damage, have faster reload and less shot dispersion.

NEW PILOTS: SEVEN AND NATHAN FLEMING

Seven is a mystery. The scientists are sure that she has supernatural abilities, which is why she was kept in the EvoLife labs for a long time.

**Seven's Friend: **After the end of the ability, the robot heals 15% of its Durability and 10% of the Durability from the damage dealt to enemies while the ability was active.

Nathan Fleming is an intelligent and passionate scientist. He is known for his expeditions to the outer border of populated space. His ship was also where Seven was kept while her abilities were being investigated until a serious event took place.

**Nathan's Support: **While its ability is active, Dagon gets additional 25% shield Durability.

EVENT TITLE

Don't miss your chance to get the ALIEN event title! It's an exclusive reward which can only be acquired during the EvoLife’s Bizarre Robots event. You get to keep the title after the event ends if you fulfill all of its requirements until then.

NEW FEATURE: DATA PADS

A new reward system is coming to replace the Special Delivery! Previously, you needed Coins to open Bronze and Silver Chests or a Golden Bingo cell. Now you'll have Data Pads: special blocks that contain different types of rewards. There will be more than 3 Data Pads, and their contents will be instantly available to you once you open them.

You will be able to earn Data Pads just the same way you did with Coins: some of them will be available at the start of the event, through event tasks and Operation Pass and also via Leaderboards and other sources.

GOLD REBALANCE & UPGRADE CHANGES

As promised, we rebalanced our currency sources so you could get more from Daily Quests, the Supply Center and Workshop level-ups. Gold is coming your way!

We’ve also decreased the amount of Memorium needed for upgrading the ranks of regular and Legendary Robot Pilots by 25%.

However, reducing the upgrade timers requires more work than anticipated, as the entire timer system has to be reworked. We are still planning this change, but it will have to be implemented in one of our future updates.

NEW ROBOT: OCHOKOCHI

In Georgian myths and legends, it is said that Ochokochi was a fierce part-human, part-goat creature. It trampled hunters and pierced them with a big horn protruding from its chest. And now, there is a robot named in its honor galloping across the battlefields of War Robots and crushing the enemy with similar abilities! It has 2 Medium and 2 Light hard points, as well as the Stampede ability that will be familiar to any Minos pilot. The robot can accelerate and activate a destructive magnetic field around itself. Any enemies in the way will be damaged and knocked back.

However, there is a slight difference. While the ability is active, Ochokochi converts all incoming damage into Damage over Time (DoT) stacks. That means it can live through all those shots that would have taken it out as it gets close to the enemy. Damage will still be taken, but it won’t be as great: Ochokochi also has Corrosion Protection as its passive ability, which reduces the DoT it takes, whatever the source. Don't try to spray this goat with acid!

NEW WEAPONS: BRISANT, SHATTER, SPLINTER

Historically, all shotguns are usually great at close quarters, but get weaker at longer ranges due their huge spread. Brisant (Heavy), Shatter (Medium) and Splinter (Light) are a different breed: they retain their 100% accuracy at 250m, where their bullets start to split into pellets. That means that maximum damage is dealt up close. Don’t worry that your target will be too fast so it can get away from you: these shotguns also apply the Slowdown effect, so there's no easy escape if the enemy is in range.

NEW DRONE: HIRUKO

A fine addition to the Ochokochi build, Hiruko also possesses a complex but unique ability. Upon using an active module, it extends the robot’s Durability, but also applies a DoT effect, which adds up to the exact same amount as the Durability it extends. It is almost like taking a loan — you'll need to pay back this extra amount, but you can still repair it. It also passively boosts the damage of a robot, which also depends on the DoT stacks it has at the moment. Everything synergizes!

NEW ULTIMATE EDITIONS: MENDER, IGNITER, BLAZE

The legendary healer is back, faster, tougher, more powerful and repairing even more than before. It is much more stylish as well! Besides increased stats, Mender also gains new properties after upgrading. First of all, its armor becomes immune to Defense Mitigation. And secondly, once it reaches 0, it can repair itself with a big chunk of Durability once per battle, similarly to the Reviver Drone.

Ultimate flamethrowers are also coming along, now both dealing more damage and applying Slowdown. There’s no way to run from the flames anymore!

NEW PILOTS: VEPKHO LOVIDZE

Born in a middle class family at the Yan-Di colony, Vepkho fell in love with a daughter of one of the members of the Board of Directors. When she was kidnapped, no one in Yan-Di seemed to care, so he was the only one who decided to leave the colony behind and look for her. On the way, he met and joined the Knights of the Order — a noble and proud organization opposed to all of the corporations on Mars. They agreed to help Vepkho, but only at a time of dire need. Will he be able to reclaim his lost lover?

**Vepkho's Fortitude: **Ochokochi gains defense points for each active DoT effect it is under.

NEW ROBOT: ANGLER

Angler might look like a nice big target for your shotguns, but you’d better keep your distance. His Electric Shift ability allows him to enter a similar state to a Phase Shift, except it will also increase his speed and will deal damage to all enemies around him for 5 seconds. At the end of it, it applies blind status effect to everyone who was affected for 3 seconds. Don’t get lured into its light!

Angler is a perfect brawler so you’re welcome to pick your favorite close-ranged weapons and charge into the fight.

NEW WEAPONS: CLAW, JAW, TALON

Light, medium, and heavy rocket launchers with homing projectiles and 350m range. Each hit will make your enemy weaker – they apply Rust and Fragility effects, which lower the robot's defenсe points and any incoming repair. Wear them down and tear their defenses to shreds!

NEW PILOTS: ANNA BASARAB, MARKUS

Some say that Anna Basarab is a ruthless boss with strict principles. Some – that she’s a reliable partner and collector with fine taste. Some even know her as a knowledgeable technician, an expert on old Earth relics and mechanisms. There are even rumors that she’s not entirely human, originally not from Yan-Di… Maybe they’re all right, but they’re missing one thing: her reputation and looks are as deadly as her piloting skills.

**Anna’s Lifedrain: **While Mars’ Remote Assault is active, it gets an additional speed increase, as well as repairing some of its Durability when the ability ends. The extent of the repair depends on the damage dealt while the detachable turret was on the battlefield.

He was an android once, helping his master craft technological wonders that sold for a hefty price on a black market. Until one of the deals went south and he ended up as a piece of junk on a scrapyard. But then Anna came along: she breathed a new life into an android and named him Markus. Now he is faithfully serving his new master, though sometimes he’s wondering: maybe there’s something more to his life?

Markus’ Data Transfer: Angler’s ability duration increased.

NEW PASSIVE MODULE: IMMUNE AMPLIFIER

After taking some amount of damage, your robot will receive a small bonus to its maximum Durability for the entire battle. After reaching 30 of those bonuses, the robot will become immune to Freeze, after 60 – to Lockdown and after 90 (maximum) – to Suppresion. All immunities stay active for the entire battle. Your robot initially gets passive bonuses to Durability and Speed as well.

When installing several such modules, the speed of receiving bonuses increases, but not their maximum amount.

NEW TURRET: DURABILITY EXTENDER

Plain and simple: it increases your robot’s maximum durability when activated. And yes, those effects stack!

UPGRADE TOKEN

Starting with this update all upgrades from 12mk2 to 1mk3 require special Upgrade Tokens instead of gold. These tokens are awarded as a sign of special recognition to the best and most experienced Commanders. Only they give the right to access the rarest and most valuable components needed to upgrade robots and weapons to mk3.

For now these tokens are obtainable via Leaderboards and resource Operation Passes. We see the future of the mk3 grade as a thing of prestige for the most devoted players and an opportunity for them to stand out even among the maxed hangars of the Champion league.

PILOTS REBALANCE

These changes will go live later during 8.5. We will announce them separately in all our social media.

Pilots have been introduced in an update 5.1, at a time when there were no Titans, Drones or Motherships. Their base skills stayed the same since then, so now it’s time to do some reworking and also introduce new ones. During this rebalance we aim to make Pilots more universal and make their different groups of robots more even in terms of gaining damage, speed and durability.

All skills’ stats below are shown as their Legendary tier versions, fully upgraded.

  • Road Hog: Robot has increased speed: 12.3-18.75% → 15%. Bonus is universal and will be applied no matter the robots' top speed.

  • Armor Expert: The robot has increased durability: 12.5-18.75% → 15%. Bonus is universal and will be applied no matter robots’ max durability.

  • Master Gunsmith: The robot deals increased weapon damage: 3.2-6.25% → 5%. Bonus is universal and will be applied no matter robots’ weapons.

  • Energy Shield Expert: The robot's energy shield has increased capacity: 18.75-25% → 25%. Bonus is universal and will be applied no matter the robot.

  • Adamant Guardian: If the enemy team controls 3 or more beacons, the robot gets increased damage resistance: 31.25 → 40.

  • Adamant Gunsmith: If the enemy team controls 3 or more beacons, the robot deals increased weapon damage: 9.5% → 12%.

  • True Ace: The robot repairs more durability with its ability: 12.5% → 18.75% . Nightingale and Khepri pilots now can also get this ability.

  • Guidance Operator: The robot locks onto targets faster: 65% → 75%.

  • Powerman: The weapon accumulates charges faster: 25% → 30%.

  • Survivor, Thrill Seeker: The robot deals increased weapon damage, but its speed/durability is lowered. Weapon damage increased: 6.25% → 8.5%.

  • Spy, Tough Guy: The robot has increased speed/durability, but its weapon damage is lowered. Lowered weapon damage: 3.1% → 2.5%.

  • Bounty Hunter: Destroying an enemy robot increases the robot's weapon damage for 5 seconds: 7.5% → 15%.

  • Thrill Seeker: The robot deals increased weapon damage, but its durability is lowered. New robots will be able to use this skill: Ao Jun, Hawk, Fafnir, Seraph, Cerberus, Angler.

  • Survivor: The robot deals increased weapon damage, but its speed is lowered. New robots will be able to use this skill: Ravana, Behemoth, Shell, Bulwark, Ao Guang, Ao Qin.

  • Tough Guy: The robot has increased durability, but its weapon damage is lowered. New robots will be able to use this skill: Ravana, Shell, Typhon, Cerberus, Erebus.

  • Cautious Pilot: The robot has increased durability, but its speed is lowered. New robots will be able to use this skill: Nightingale, Angler, Weyland, Mender.

  • Spy: The robot has increased speed, but its weapon damage is lowered. New robots will be able to use this skill: Angler, Ao Jun, Hawk, Fafnir.

  • Scout: The robot has increased speed, but its durability is lowered. New robots will be able to use this skill: Ares, Typhon, Hades, Nemesis, Nightingale.

  • Daredevil, Ghost, Traditionalist: The robot's damage/speed/durability increases, but its active ability becomes unavailable. New robots will be able to use this skill: Shell, Revenant, Angler, Typhon, Cerberus, Erebus, Carnage, Fenrir.

  • Wonderworker: After activating its ability, the robot repairs a portion of its maximum durability. New robots will be able to use this skill: Seraph, Hawk, Shell, Angler, Harpy, Siren, Orochi, Revenant, Fafnir, Scorpion, Phantom.

We’ve also added some new Pilots’ skills:

  • Wise Opportunist: Destroying an enemy robot increases your Defense Points for 5 seconds.

  • Cunning Opportunist: Destroying an enemy robot increases your Movement Speed for 5 seconds.

  • Ninja: After capturing a beacon, your robot increases its Movement Speed for 30 seconds.

  • Customization Adept: Your robot has more Durability, but its Shield Durability is reduced.

  • Explosives Expert: Damage you deal with your robot has a larger explosion radius.

  • Stubborn Warrior: As long as your robot has low Durability, it gains additional Defense Points.

  • Stubborn Speedster: As long as your robot has low Durability, it gains additional movement speed.

  • Engine Expert: Your robot has increased movement speed while its ability is active.

  • Defense Expert: Your robot has increased resistance while its ability is active.

  • Destroyer: Your robot deals increased weapon damage while its ability is active.

Some Pilots don’t get as much attention from players as others. It’s about time we reinvigorate the meta of the lower leagues and put a spotlight on our underdogs:

  • Boris Crow: After activating its ability, Cerberus' damage is increased for 5 seconds: 15%→20%

  • Jack Moore: Each time Strider's ability is activated, it deals increased damage for 8 seconds. The increase stacks up to 5 times: 5%→7%

  • Ariadne Shaw: Pursuer's ability lasts longer: 20%→25%

  • Kyle Rogers (Inquisitor): Inquisitor repairs a portion of its maximum durability each second: 0.75% → 1.00%

  • Kang Strong: Ao Guang deals increased ability damage: 15%→20%

  • Basil Lapatte: Weapons with a range of 800+ meters deal increased damage: 7.5%→10%

  • Olga Minina: Phantom's ability lasts longer: 20%→25%

  • Isabella Porter: Damage redirected by the Leech's ability is increased, while the incoming damage is reduced by only 70% → 80%

  • Amalia Itegumo: Haechi gets Defense Points: 20→30

  • Nicolas Wodanson: Fenrir has increased Defense Points while its ability is active: 25→40

  • Tal Mokri: Spectre deals increased weapon damage while its ability is active: 7.5% → 10%

  • Stanislav Chen: Invader has increased Suppression effect: 20% → 25%

Finally, we've also made it easier to find needed Legendary Pilots in the Training Center. Now there will always be at least 1 Legendary Pilot, even after refreshing!

NEW ROBOT: MARS

Mars is the first robot that comes fitted with a detachable turret. While seated on the robot’s hull, the turret serves as an additional gun, automatically firing at the enemies within aiming range. When deployed on the ground, the turret becomes autonomous. It will fire at the closest available target and will only focus on your target if you press the ability button again while keeping an enemy robot within your aiming reticle.

Mars doesn’t excel at close-range brawls, but can deal devastating damage with clever use of cover. Mid-range weapons are recommended for Mars.

NEW WEAPON: FAINTER

This mid-range energy machine gun deals huge amounts of damage in one burst when fully charged and sustains moderate damage at low charge thanks to continuous reload. Fainter accumulates Lock-down effect on the target, rooting it in place after a certain number of hits.

NEW PILOTS: CAPTAIN CLYDE, KATE O’DONNEL

Captain Clyde: Mars turret fires at an increased rate and deals increased damage.

As a leader of a boarding squad, Clyde survived many pitched battles on board corporation ships. Fortune is a fickle friend though. Clyde lost everything in one of those fights and ended up in DSC prison. He escaped just recently and is now looking for revenge. Beware the sails of Griffin’s Fury! She’s on the hunt.

Kate O’Donnel: Weapons deal increased damage against targets affected by Lock-down.

The adopted daughter of Captain Clyde, Kate commands her own squad now. She makes sure that no valuable tech escapes the battlefield one way or another and makes corporate merchants regret cutting back on convoy expenses.

NEW MOTHERSHIP: FROZEN SCORN

The ship drops a thermal bomb on the enemy position. All affected targets will move slower and keep receiving damage over time as long as they remain in the area of effect. Frozen Scorn comes equipped with 2 protection and 1 support turret slots.

CHANGES TO LEAGUE SYSTEM

_These changes will go live later during 8.4. We will announce them separately in all our social media. _ With this update we introduce league drop limits. After entering a new league, you won’t fall below a certain rating threshold, no matter how many battles you lose. Champion accounts, for example, will never end up anywhere below the Expert league. Masters will be locked above the Diamond league, and so on. See the table below for exact rating values.

Our main goal here is to prevent players from dropping their league rating on purpose and protect new arrivals from veterans looking for easy prey. We will continue addressing reports of purposeful inactivity in combat even after these changes take place.

We are also removing qualifications from the league system. When a new season begins, your account will be placed at exactly the same rating as at the end of the previous season. No need for the extra five trial matches. The mechanics of the Champion league, however, remain unchanged. All accounts in that league get their rating reset to 5,000 at the end of each season.

NEW SHENZHEN

The Shenzhen map receives an overhaul. We’ve reworked building models, textures, and overall lighting to update it to Remastered standards. The geometry of the map has also received some tweaks to accommodate for the arrival of Titans, as Shenzhen was a part of the game before Titans were introduced.

At the same time, we’re saying goodbye to the night version of older Shenzhen. Revamping it would take just as much time and we’d rather focus on our next rework. More news on that to follow in future updates.

POSTCOMBAT SCREEN UPDATE

You can now view mini-profiles of players from other platforms by tapping on them in the battle score screen. The mini-profile will show nickname, ID, and league. The option to report the player will also be available on that screen.

WAR ROBOTS 8.3 UPDATE NOTES

EVENT: EARTH RECLAMATION DAY

The event will start soon after 8.3 lands on your platform. The event task chain will be available in the Operations interface.

Yan-Di Ventures host a tournament to recruit able pilots for their Earth Reclamation initiative. Meddle with the crowd to learn why the Earth needs reclaiming in the first place. Also, don’t miss out on a chance to boost your hangar.

The following prizes will be available in Special Deliveries and operations throughout the event:

  • New titan: Indra
  • New titan weapons: Vadjra, Maha-Vadjra
  • New titan module: Damage Controller
  • New pilots: Victoria B. (Seraph), Dr. Otto (Plasma weapon)
  • New drone: Patron
  • New turret: Anti-jamming Support
  • Special editions: Eldritch Blight, Cryptic Hazard, Unknown Decay, Unknown Seraph
  • Paintjob: Earth Seraph

WR in Discord: https://discord.gg/warrobots WR on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/walkingwarrobots/ WR in Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/warrobots

NEW TITAN: INDRA

A testament to the extravagance of Yan Di upper class. This is the first titan that walks on three legs, this is the first titan that disappears into Phase Shift to avoid damage, and this is the first titan that ensnares enemies with a power net. They sure know how to show off!

Indra features 1 Alpha and 2 Beta weapon slots. Most of the time you will see it equipped for close range. Try maintaining distance. Not only is it perfectly suited for melee, but its power net also explodes if the target stays within range long enough. The explosion will deal damage to your robot and restore some durability to Indra.

NEW WEAPONS: VAJRA, MAHA-VAJRA

Both cannons send lightning balls to a distance of up to 500 meters. The energy projectiles mess with the target’s engines, slowing it down. The more projectiles hit the target, the slower it moves. Due to low accuracy, Vajra and Maha-Vajra work best at close range.

NEW PILOTS: VICTORIA, DR. OTTO

Victoria: Seraph stays in the air longer and gets increased speed while flying.

Victoria prefers chasing her dream as a combat pilot rather than following the beaten path of a social career in the colony. And what better way to do so than to join Wild Fire, the Iskra’s revolutionary crew?

Dr. Otto: Radiation and plasma weapons get increased fire rate (works on Blight, Hazard, Decay, Magnum, Taran, and Redeemer).

An adept of nuclear physics, Otto hoped to impress the Yan-Di academia with his groundbreaking invention. After a streak of safety incidents though he found himself ostracized. Well, there will be others who see the true value of my research, you know…

NEW DRONE: PATRON

The drone will apply Stealth to your robot as soon as it gets affected by the Blind effect. It won’t save you from damage completely, but with Patron it will be easier to survive until you can aim again.

NEW TURRET: ANTI-JAMMING SUPPORT

This T4 turret for Protection slot removes EMP, Blind, and Suppression from friendly targets and provides them with a temporary immunity to these effects. Installing additional turrets of the same type will increase the immunity duration.

NEW TITAN MODULE: DAMAGE CONTROLLER

A passive defense module that decreases incoming structural "grey" damage and boosts the overall durability of your Titan.

BOOSTER SYSTEM OVERHAUL

We’ve combined all boosters into 3 types: Offensive, Defensive, and Resources. Each of the new boosters includes bonuses from all old boosters of the same type. There are two notable exceptions however: the speed bonus was trasferred from the Offense to the Defense category and the Honor part of the Resource booster was replaced with Gold. New boosters activate automatically when you acquire them and last for 1 battle. Battles where you failed to load into the map or haven’t deployed a bot do not count.

The old boosters in your Storage will convert into new shortly after the release of 8.3. See the (https://warrobots.com/en/posts/358) on our website for conversion rules.

TITAN ECONOMY AND BALANCE UPDATE

The last time we revised titan meta was as far back as 7.2 and judging from our meta charts we’ve accumulated quite a few balance outliers since then. We are fixing them with the update 8.3.

THESE CHANGES WILL TAKE PLACE LATER DURING 8.3. WE WILL MAKE A SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT IN OUR SOCIAL MEDIA WHEN IT HAPPENS.

First of all, we are tuning down the blinding builds and the new vacuum cannons:

  • Dazzler: -10% damage, reduced ammo (120 → 90), effect accumulation rate lowered
  • Lantern: -5% damage, reduced ammo (120 → 90), effect accumulation rate lowered
  • Gargantua: -10% damage, reduced zone of fire (30' → 27')
  • Pantagruel: reduced zone of fire (30' → 27')

We’re convinced that it’s the Dazzler-Lantern (and Cinder) builds that make Murometz and Luchador so dominant, but just to be sure we’ll give these titans a slight nerf as well to carve space for other competitors:

  • Murometz: reduced Hard Rain duration (8 → 6 sec), reduced extra damage from Core upgrades (25% → 18%)
  • Luchador: reduced Reflector power from the Ultimate Defence ability (91% → 80%), reduced structural damage mitigation from Core upgrades (48% → 35%)
  • Cinder: increased reload time (11.25 → 14 sec)

These buffs will make the life a bit easier for the supports:

  • Heimdall: +10% repair from the Golden Horn ability, +10% damage from the built-in rocket launcher
  • Nodens: +7% durability
  • Self-fix Unit: +15% repair power

And these will provide for a solid long-range combo for Sharanga:

  • Sharanga: reduced cooldown for Full Power ability (10 → 8 sec)
  • Striker: increased ammo (7 → 8), longer reload time (7 → 8 sec), increased damage at full charge (26,650 → 31,860)

We also decided to try and revive the obvious outsiders:

  • Tsar: becomes a titan version of Trident, increased ammo (1 → 3), increased reload time (4 → 12 sec), reduced shot interval (1 → 0.33 sec)
  • Rupture: +10% damage, -10% reload time

And, finally, there is a list of miscellaneous nerfs and buffs as a result of our statistical research:

  • Grom: -10% damage
  • Vengeance: increased reload time (8 → 10 sec), wider aimcone (+10%)
  • Retaliator: reduced reload time (12 → 10 sec), -13% damage
  • Gendarme: reduced reload time (15 → 12 sec)
  • Cuirassier: reduced reload time (15 → 12 sec)
  • Bulava: +15% damage
  • Kisten: +15% damage

We are redistributing a significant part of the equipment to lower tiers. The acquisition and upgrade costs for that equipment will be noticeably reduced. At the same time, we are increasing the upgrade costs of T4 weapons (both existing and future ones), so that the cost better matches the item's place on the power curve.

See the chart below for details.

KHEPRI BALANCE UPDATE

Khepri proved to be too powerful in a close range brawl. We are tuning down its stats so that it has to rely on teammates more. This will hopefully highlight the robots role as a support.

  • Ability damage mitigation: 40% → 33%
  • Ability duration: 15 → 12 sec
  • Ability speed bonus: 20 → 15 km/h
DEADCITY VISUAL UPDATE

We've reworked lighting and textures on Deadcity to bring the map in line with WR Remastered standards.

BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed the effect accumulation display in the upgrade window of Cudgel, Mace, and Hammer.
  • Fixed the Repair Unit expiring faster than intended when working together with Trixie Hope's ability.
  • Fixed the speed scaling of Behemoth and Kid.
  • Fixed the profile login on the Amazon platform.

WAR ROBOTS 8.2: SPACETECH HEIST

EVENT: SPACETECH HEIST

The event will start soon after 8.2 lands on your platform.

At the International SpaceTech Science and Technology Conference you can see the whole world of technical innovations of corporations. However, this year the holiday was overshadowed by a mysterious event - an alarm signal announced an invasion to the station and a threat to all conference participants. What is happening and who is to blame? To find out more, join the investigation! All the details are in the event tasks and in the interface of Operation E.

You will find these new items in Special Deliveries and operations throughout the event:

  • New robot: Seraph

  • New weapons: Blight, Hazard, Decay

  • New pilots: Trixie Hope (Repair/Advanced Repair Unit), Jill Summers (Seraph)

  • Special editions: Freedom Skyros, Freedom Cudgel, Freedom Mace, Freedom Hammer

  • Paintjobs: Liberty Khepri

New robot: Seraph

Seraph was specifically created to fight Titans. The robot activates its weapons in flight, striking enemies with a discharge of electricity. Seraph also has a unique Forcefield defense system. The Forcefield partially blocks received damage, but the defense it provides decreases as the robot takes damage.

Skyward The robot takes off and activates energy weapons that deal damage to several enemies in front of it. The built-in guns deal increased damage against Titans.

Forcefield For the duration of the ability, the robot has protection which partially blocks received damage, the defense level decreases as the incoming damage is blocked.

New weapons: Blight, Hazard, Decay

Radiation guns which fire in short bursts of 3 shots. Each shot following the first deals increased damage of up to 200%.

New pilots: Trixie Hope (Repair/Advanced Repair Unit), Jill Summers (Seraph)

Trixie Hope: Thanks to the Trixie's little assistant, the cooldown of the Repair Unit and the Advanced Repair Unit is reduced by X seconds.

Trixie Hope is the youngest staff member of the Technical Engineering Lab at the SpaceTech Innovative Development Institute. She is always accompanied by Professor, her personal assistant drone. Professor has a special program which will speed up the recharge rate of your active repair modules!

Jill Summers: After the flight, Seraph repairs some of its durability

At first glance, Jill seems to be made of rock. This strong-willed woman has always strived to be the best, and the military academy and family traditions showed her the way how to do it. She tried to be the winner at everything, working towards her great goal step by step. Her great passion was to become the sword and shield of SpaceTech when her moment came. To be the perfect weapon to serve and defend.

NEW FEATURE: LEADERBOARDS

Leaderboards are competitions in which prizes are awarded for completing certain tasks. When you complete Leaderboard tasks, you get points. Upon reaching a certain number of points, you will receive Milestone Rewards. The players who took the first places will receive valuable rewards.

Additional rules:

  • You can claim milestone rewards as soon as you reach them.

  • The rewards for the first places are available to claim only after the Leaderboard is over.

  • You can claim rewards for 24 hours after the Leaderboard ends. If you don't claim them, they will be added to your inventory as soon as the Leaderboard disappears.

  • If two players share the same amount of points, the one who reached that amount earlier will take a higher place.

  • If a player has not earned any points, they will not receive a reward, even if they take a prize place.

NEW ROBOT: SKYROS

A well-protected model capable of transforming into a ball for increased mobility and Defence. Features 1 light, 1 medium, and 1 heavy weapon slots that are only active while in attack mode. Almost impenetrable for ordinary weapons while in high-speed mode.

Skyros can be extremely dangerous in combination with close-range weapons due to its ability to dictate the distance of a fight. However, using the high-speed mode on Skyros may become suboptimal if the enemy packs defence-ignoring or DoT-heavy builds.

NEW WEAPONS: CUDGEL, MACE, HAMMER

Shotgun-type guns with explosive rounds that deal area damage. Targets affected by the explosion accumulate BLAST effect potentially receiving additional damage.

NEW ITEMS IN WORKSHOP

Starting with the Anniversary Expo event, these items will become available in the Workshop:

  • Orochi

  • Fafnir

  • Incinerator

  • Scorcher

  • Scald

These Titan weapons will appear in the Shop:

  • Kisten

  • Bulava

Also this drone:

  • Persephone

And these pilots will be available in the Training Centre:

  • Midea Nerium

  • Dew Tompkins

  • Raphael Petit

  • Jad Parkes (Erebus)

  • Ricardo Gonzales

NEW PILOTS: THESEUS, EDDIE NOLL

Theseus: When in high-speed mode, Skyros’ defence bonus cannot be mitigated by any weapons except for damage from Corrosion.

A reckless fighter still staying in the ranks with the help of first-class surgery. Lost much of his organic body and all his previous bots trying to save teammates in unsuccessful fights. Takes pride in his prosthetic limbs and implants, signing them with names of those companions-in-arms he was able to rescue.

Eddie Noll: Fire rate of all shotgun-type weapons is increased by 10%.

He wouldn’t even get to pilot a combat bot if not for a video game about surfing. Back on Mars, he dreamed of once seeing ocean waves for real. After countless hours of hard work and many dangerous fights as a merc, he found his way to Earth. Nothing can stop Eddie from enjoying his holidays now, not even the aftermath of the Cataclysm that forced humans to flee the planet in the first place.

NEW TURRET: GRAVITY AMPLIFIER

The turret creates a gravitational anomaly around the target, slowing everyone in proximity. The longer the enemies stay in the affected area, the slower they move. Eventually, all affected targets get locked-down. The anomaly cannot be countered with any anti-control effects.

SUPPLY LINE REWORK

Before 8.0, bonus resources received via the Supply Line were limited to Silver. Starting with this update, you receive a random amount of a random resource — several times a day. The bonus can now include Gold, Platinum, Silver, Keys, and Power Cells.

One supply drop unlocks automatically each day. You can claim it in the Supply Center window. You can unlock additional supply drops by watching video ads. The amount of additional drops is limited.

Note that there are several categories of resource packs. The most lucrative ones have a lower chance to drop. Claimed prizes, however, are removed from the pool for the day, meaning you get better chances to claim rarer prizes with each subsequent try.

NEW SPRINGFIELD

We have completed a visual and technical overhaul of this iconic map. Most of the map’s components were reworked from scratch and you can now enjoy a fresh look and enhanced graphics on all three quality presets.

UPDATED BEACON LAYOUT

Beacons on Springfield, Dead City and Shenzhen were renamed for the sake of consistency. Here are the updated layouts.

WEYLAND REWORK, JAEGER TWEAKS

Starting with this update, Weyland can move while using its repair ability. Now you can support those teammates who always run away!

To keep Weyland’s stats in line with other T3 robots, we have reduced its repair radius: 100m → 80m.

We have also updated ability mechanics on Jaeger. The robot will not stop moving when switching from one ability state to another.

BALANCE UPDATE
  • Schütze: movement speed increased by 8%
BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed Papamobile Hawk activating its built-in weapon with a delay.

  • Fixed black screen crashes at the start of a match.

  • Fixed Demeter ability getting locked in the shield phase.

  • Fixed robot selection panel disappearing in Team Deathmatch mode.

  • Fixed vertical aiming angles on Khepri.

  • Implemented numerous optimization tweaks.

WAR ROBOTS 7.9 UPDATE NOTES

EVENT: EVOLIFE BLOOM

The event will start soon after the update lands on your platform.

Commanders!

In the new event, we will celebrate the arrival of spring with Evolife! Pay special attention to the new hangar on the city streets for the first time and to the new version of the Valley Bloom map! And, of course, to the new equipment! Read more about it below.

What's new:

  • Customizable UI

  • New titan: Heimdall

  • New Titan weapons: Dazzler and Lantern

  • New titan module: Onslaught Reactor

  • New drone: Whiteout

  • Balance Update

  • New legendary pilots: Misaki Ueno (Khepri), River Chase (Typhon)

  • Special editions: Kitsune Harpy, Augmented Scald, Spirit Razdor, Spirit Smuta

CUSTOMIZABLE UI

Combat HUD settings have finally arrived. With it, you will be able to reposition or resize any button on the screen. There are certain limitations: you can only move buttons (no indicators) and only within their designated “safe zones” (which are wide enough to cover most use cases though). Also, movement sticks and weapon buttons cannot be mirrored yet.

NEW TITAN: HEIMDALL

A new Support Titan is arriving in War Robots to the sound of the Gjallarhorn!

Just like other robots from Ragnarok Squad, Heimdall can switch modes. This is when the second ability of the Titan also changes. In Repair mode, Heimdall speeds up and repairs everyone around it. The second ability amplifies this effect. In Battle mode, Heimdall activates its in-built weapon and a physical shield, as well as increasing its own Damage and that of its nearest allies. Its special ability in this mode is a Suppression effect shot. But that’s not all: when it falls in battle, Heimdall emits one last powerful pulse which can repair even grey damage.

NEW TITAN WEAPONS: DAZZLER AND LANTERN

A super-heavy energy weapons for titans. They strike enemies with a special concentrated laser beams that temporarily blind the enemy’s aiming systems.

NEW TITAN MODULE: ONSLAUGHT REACTOR

A titan with the Onslaught Reactor module will be more effective at attacking standard robots and even more effective at attacking titans.

NEW DRONE: WHITEOUT

At first glance, this is a cute hilarious ball. But your first impressions will be deceptive. This is a ball of death with a unique electromagnetic field. The Whiteout drone turns off the abilities of all opponents around as soon as there is an enemy in the targeting reticle and within 100m radius.

BALANCE UPDATE

We are making a number of changes to the robots and their weapons. We based them on our own data and player surveys. Our key goal is to make essential pieces of equipment less essential. Another thing we want to do, is to reduce the power of dominant robots, putting it in line with other Tier 4 robots.

  • Fafnir: speed in flight reduced (100 → 63.5 km/h), built-in weapon damage accumulation rate halved, built-in weapon damage bonus against titans reduced (220% → 150%)

  • Revenant: durability reduced by 10%, ability damage mitigation reduced (99% → 90%), side shields durability increased by 10%

  • Orochi: durability reduced by 10%, stealth duration reduced (5 → 4 s), ability cooldown increased (18 → 22 s)

  • Shell: durability reduced by 10%, side shields durability increased by 10%

WAR ROBOTS 7.8 UPDATE NOTES

Event: Lunar New Year

The event will start soon after the update lands on your platform.

In the new event, we will stand shoulder to shoulder with our old friend Lieutenant Colonel Yang Lee. And help him in his battle against a band of cutthroats who are led by the alluring but dangerous Nian.

And of course, there will be new rewards:

  • New robot: Khepri

  • New mothership: Orion

  • New machineguns: Kramola, Razdor, Smuta

  • New module: Repair Amplifier

  • New legendary pilots: Lieutenant Colonel Yang Lee (Siren/Harpy), Nian (Khepri)

  • Special editions: Baihu Luchador, Baihu Basilisk, Oolong Cinder

New robot: Khepri

Every teammate will fight for your attention. When Khepri joins an ally, the robot strengthens them as well as itself. Both robots receive bonuses to Speed, Damage, Defence Points and also get repaired. Khepri can just get this buff for itself all on its own and try to be the hero of the day — however, you will only reveal the full potential of the robot with an ally.

Ability: Bond. Khepri binds itself to a targeted ally and provides them with various bonuses: a portion of repair every second, a speed bonus, a damage bonus, and a defense bonus. The robot itself gains the same bonuses. The bond can be broken if the robot and the ally move too far away from each other. The robot can activate the ability without a targeted ally if it wants to only apply the bonuses to itself.

New machine guns: Kramola, Razdor, Smuta

Rapid-firing machine guns loaded with homing projectiles. These are good for trickshots and making enemies leave their cover, but sometimes struggle against shields. Damage type: kinetic

New mothership: Orion

The new mothership is armed with a gigantic beam weapon that does not just cause damage once, but over some time. This beam will be especially dangerous to Titans, since it deals extra Damage to them.

New module: Repair Amplifier

When receiving damage, your robot gains a 0.03% bonus to regeneration for the entire battle. When the maximum bonuses are reached, the robot receives defense points and restores the percentage of grey damage to itself.

When installing several such modules, the speed and of receiving bonuses increases, but not their maximum. Base required loss of durability for stack: 9%

New legendary pilots

Yang Lee (Siren/Harpy) Lee was an excellent testing engineer as well as a top pilot, so he began to pay closer attention to the new line of experimental Siren and Harpy robots. After being granted access to test the cutting edge of DSC tech, Yang spent several months on the test ranges, identifying the weaknesses and strengths of the new robots compared to his old war machine. He worked with the best DSC engineers to make technical improvements and invent a special technology which allowed for enemy shields to be ignored for a short time.

Skill: Yang's Breakthrough. Siren and Harpy’s shots ignore enemy shields while the ability is active.

Nian (Khepri) Evolife native Nian never agreed with the pacifist philosophy of the colony leaders. She believed in the power of destruction and demolishing more than in “building, repairing and creating”. Her believes made her an inspiring leader for the opposition. She tried to change things. Both Nian and her followers were banished from the colony with no possibility to return. None of them were sad about that though, as they had Nian, and she always had a plan.

Skill: Nian's Will. While the ability is active, Khepri receives 5% bonus to its outcoming damage and 5% to its movement speed. If the robot is bonded to an ally, these bonuses are increased: 10% bonus damage and 10% bonus speed

Bug fixes
  • Microchips number in inventory now displays correctly

  • Revenant's fire buttons now sorted corresponding to weapon's placement

  • Hawk and Luchador ability VFX were fixed

  • Final chest in Battle Rewards used to display incorrect rewards – fixed that as well!

  • Megalodon Orochi's turret now rotates with the same speed as Orochi's turret

  • Marie Leclair (Mender)

TIER SYSTEM AND PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Starting with this update, the item interface shows the tier of each item.

All items in the game are grouped into four tiers: from grey T1 to golden T4. A tier explains how much power you can expect of a robot or a piece of equipment. Items also get more complex towards T4. We’ve explained the idea behind each tier in this article.

Together with this visual feature, new prices became available for lower-tier equipment. We’ve reconsidered the value of each item based on how it performs in the current ecosystem of the game. As a result, most of the T2 and T3 items now cost less both to acquire and upgrade. You will find the full list of price adjustments at the end of this article.

AIMING TWEAKS

In this update, we adjusted aiming angles for most of the robots in the game. We expect that these changes will eliminate two issues:

  • "LOCK ON TARGET" selecting low-priority targets on the flanks rather than focusing on the enemy in front.

  • Some robots being unable to return fire when attacked from above.

In terms of horizontal aiming, the angle of sight became narrower. Your robot now ignores targets to its sides and you have a more direct control over the aiming process. You just need to face in the right direction.

In terms of vertical aiming, we reduced the blind zone instead. It will be much easier now to aim at targets right above you and right beneath you. This was an issue for most of the robots in the game. With the new aiming angles, all robots will have similar blind zones.

Note that we advise using "LOCK ON TARGET" option for better experience. You can enable it in the ADVANCED section of the game settings.

NEW ROBOTS: SIREN, HARPY

Twin robots specializing in area damage. Their ability allows them to attack target locations with cryogenic or incendiary missiles while hovering in the air. The missiles freeze or overheat their targets, making it extremely dangerous to stay in the affected area.

Abilities

Snowstorm / Firestorm Siren / Harpy sets up a translocator, makes a jet jump and hovers in the air. Secondary activation teleports the robot to the translocator. While in the air, the robot can launch a powerful rocket that creates a zone that damages enemies and applies the FREEZE / BLAST effect.

Reflector shields

Siren blocks more damage with its Reflector as compared to Harpy, but reflects less damage back to the attacker. Harpy’s Reflector, on the other hand, blocks less damage, but sends a greater portion of it back.

NEW PILOTS: SISTERS XC, MARIE LECLAIR

An experiment that backfired on the DSC military. Sisters XC-1717-1 and XC-1717-2 snatched two prototype robots right from right under their curators’ noses. They now always fight together. Hit and run tactics are their forte.

Sisterhood Siren and Harpy gain invisibility upon landing and restore some durability when returning to the teleportation beacon.

Marie is a dauntless fighter and a talented engineer. After her technical genius helped her succeed in rescuing her girlfriend, she never parts with her modified Mender. Everything can be fixed when Marie is around.

Repair That Mender becomes capable of repairing “grey” structural damage.

NEW DRONE

Ironhearth has a frozen heart. Beautiful, powerful, dangerous, cold, and hot. It can both cool and warm your robot when necessary. Ironhearth is made of iron and looks like an iron. What an irony.

Frozen heart of Ironhearth When your robot is affected by FREEZE or BLAST, the effect is removed and the robot becomes immune to it.

FUJIN REWORK

We are adapting this classic tetrapod to modern warfare. Fujin can now move while maintaining its energy shield. Press the attack!

REVENANT STATS ADJUSTMENT

Revenant’s durability upgrades were distributed incorrectly between the levels of this robot. We’ve adjusted the numbers, so that Revenant’s durability growth is streamlined with that of other robots in the game. Overall durability remains the same.

BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed Zmej Murometz getting stuck in the map geometry when landing.

  • Fixed Luchador activating explosion at the start of the jump rather than upon landing.

  • Fixed robot parts and VFX appearing randomly around the map.

  • Fixed passability issues for the ramp geometry on Springfield close to beacon A.

  • Fixed the issue that prevented players from forming squads when connected to certain servers.

  • Fixed the Legendary League interface returning to the player's own league each time after they close another player's profile.

  • Fixed Fafnir being able to shoot through map geometry at certain locations with its built-in weapon.

  • Implemented various optimization tweaks.

WAR ROBOTS 7.5 UPDATE NOTES

Event: Icarus Horror Show

The event will start soon after the update 7.5 lands on your platform.

This year's Icarus Cyber Show is being taken over by a renegade governor and the scariest pilot on Mars — Samael Johansen. Watch our Halloween Story if you aren't afraid to meet him:

Despite this takeover, there will still be plenty of prizes to win! Keep an eye out for Luchador, the latest brawler Titan, and Corrupted Fafnir, the rusty and spooky version of our nordic dragon.

What's new:

  • New Titan: Luchador

  • New Titan Weapons: Basilisk, Cinder

  • New Weapons: Venom, Puncher

  • New Drone: Reviver

  • New Special Editions: Corrupted Fafnir, Corrupted Scadi

  • New Pilots: Samael Johansen, Madam Brijit

The event will feature new skirmishes, series of quests, and Arena matches on Shenzhen map flooded with lava! Also starting with the update 7.5 you can invite players into squads using their in-game IDs.

New Titan and Weaponry
Luchador

Luchador is a Brawler Titan developed by DSC which is well-equipped for aggressive melee combat. Jump engines allow Luchador to leap straight into the enemy groups, dealing severe damage and temporarily weakening their weapon systems. After getting their attention, Luchador can survive the combat for a long time using its Ultimate Defence ability.

Basilisk

Krait's big brother for the Titan alpha slot. A very powerful energy machine gun for close and medium range. In addition to its high rate of fire and impressive ammo capacity, it also boasts a DoT effect: every round deals damage over time after hitting a target.

Cinder

An experimental auxiliary weapon ideal for close-range combat against multiple opponents. Deals damage to all enemies in the affected area. This weapon can only be reloaded when it is not firing due to its design features.

Venom

An acid launcher that damages enemy robots with a stream of highly corrosive liquid that eats away at armor. Each hit inflicts a powerful DoT effect.

Puncher

Heavy close-range energy machine gun with a high rate of fire. Possesses a special feature that immobilizes the target after a certain number of hits.

New Pilots
Samael Johansen

A former governor of an Icarus colony and a hardcore enthusiast of cybernization. For him, a human body is but a shell that inhibits our true potential. For better or for worse, he got rid of the shell as we know it. Idolizes long-range combat and long-term planning.

Samael's System: Every time Erebus's ability is activated, the robot deals increased damage for 7 seconds.

Madam Brijit

A mysterious pilot linked to infamous "Ghosts". She tracks down her targets and appears next to them seemingly out of nowhere. Dislikes quantum radars strongly.

Brijit Encounter: Orochi's ability has an additional charge, but the duration of each charge is decreased.

New Drone: Reviver

"Medic!" is a shout that is heard on the battlefield so often. But now, a medic will always be at hand! Reviver is an indispensable companion for those who like having a second chance in battle.

Built-in microchip: When the Robot's durability reaches zero, the drone instantly restores part of it.

Bug fixes
  • Fixed issue with Mk.3 durability stats for Revenant.

  • Fixed issue with special ability for Zmej Murometz. It now works as intended.

  • Fixed issue with Orbital Support charging instantaneously when a beacon is captured by several teammates at once.

  • Fixed Murometz/Zmej Murometz movement animations.

  • Fixed issue preventing Phase Exile from cancelling out Hellburner's and Shell's explosions.
